We are a fully licensed 5 star rated, comfortable and homely boarding cattery owned and run by Laura and Tony Martin. We have 6 fluffy boys and a fluffy girl ourselves, so we know how important it is to find the best for them, the perfect cat holiday home with that extra personal loving care. The cattery is situated in our garden, within our family home and our cabins surround a decked garden, con

sisting of plants, flowers and water features providing plenty of interest for our guests. We have the benefit of removable weatherproof panels for when the weather changes, and temperature controlled radiators meaning your cat will be comfortable whatever the weather. This is our home and we would love the opportunity to spoil and care for your cat and make them feel as special and at home as we do for our own. We are immediately on hand for our guests to make sure they have the best possible holiday. Your cat’s health, welfare and happiness is our priority, they deserve a great relaxing holiday too! Although we provide everything your cat will need whilst on holiday, we are happy for you to bring any items from home to help your cat settle into the cattery quickly. We will take the time to get to know your cat’s personality, individual likes and dislikes, provide pampering, grooming, stroking and cuddles. As we will get to know your cat so well, we will be able to identify any potential problems straight away. We are happy to care for cats on medication, including insulin and those with special needs. Just complete any special details on our online form when submitting your booking request and we will call you to discuss any requirements. We encourage new customers to view so we can make sure that our guests and their owners have a fantastic holiday. The Purr Inn - Laura and Tony Martin

We took over the ownership and running of the Purr Inn from the previous owners in October 2017. At that time we had 1 fluffy boy, and now we have 6! Bugsby, who’s our gorgeous senior boy, a Maine C**n cross. Younger boys Bud and Blue joined next in November 2017, a beautiful Ragdoll, and Norwegian Forest. We met them when they stayed in the cattery, and needed a loving new home. In November 2018 Sizzles joined our family, he’s an 11 year old DSH with a big heart and the loudest purr, and the summer of 2019 saw us home 2 more beautiful Ragdolls, Bob and Roger! We feel blessed and very lucky.

We had a very busy first year, getting to know many of the regular customers, who continue to holiday with us, as well as gaining many new customers too. Our page was something we wanted to get going straight away, and it has proved to be really popular, we love posting our photos! We do get very busy with bookings, and many customers now check availability for their cat’s holiday before booking theirs :)

In October 2018 there were a lot of regulatory changes that affected all catteries and kennels. All catteries are now star rated, and have to achieve a much higher minimum standard in order to gain their license. We will always do our best to go above and beyond, and to give all our guests the best possible care whilst they stay with us.
