Here are 5 ways you can keep your dog knot free
🪮 1. Brush Regularly
• Brush daily (or every couple).
• Use the right brush for your dog’s coat (ask us!)
• Pay extra attention to ears, armpits, belly, tail, and collar area.

🛁 2. Brush Before & After Baths
• Always brush before bathing (water tightens tangles).
• Blow-dry while brushing after a bath to keep the coat smooth.

✂️ 3. Keep Up With Professional Grooms
• Book every 4–8 weeks depending on coat type.
• Regular trims prevent mats in high-friction areas.

🧴 4. Use Coat Care Products
• Try a detangling spray or leave-in conditioner (we sell this)
• Use a comb to work through any small knots before they become matts.

🌳 5. Daily Coat Check
• Remove burrs, twigs, and grass seeds after walks.
• Keep long hair maintained or in between grooms around ears, paws, and legs (we offer mini grooms for in between visits!)

💡 A few minutes spent on these steps each day saves hours at the groomers later, inevitable shave offs and hefty de-matting fees! 💸
