TRAVEL TRUTH TUESDAY… You’ll Regret Ignoring This.

Most people don’t regret the holidays they booked.

They regret the ones they kept putting off.

They waited for more money.
They waited for the perfect time.
They waited until work was quieter.
They waited until everyone else could come.

Then one day they realised years had passed.

The truth is, there will probably never be a perfect time.

Life will always be busy.
There will always be another bill to pay.
There will always be another reason to wait.

But the memories you make with the people you love will stay with you long after the excuses have faded.

Travel isn’t about escaping your life.

It’s about making sure you’re actually living it.

If you’ve been talking about taking that trip “one day”…

Maybe today is the day to stop talking and start planning.

📍 Where’s the one place you’ve promised yourself you’ll visit one day? Tell me below. 👇

✈️ If you’re ready to start turning “one day” into a real itinerary, send me a message. Let’s make it happen.

For the last 9 years, many of you have known me as the man behind the dog lead, and the doggy p**p picker-upper.

I’m the one walking your dogs, sending muddy-paw photos, and caring for your four-legged family members.

I love that part of my life, but it’s only one part of who I am.

What many people don’t know is that I’ve spent over 35 years travelling the world, lived abroad, travelled solo across multiple countries, rebuilt my life more than once, and recently begun helping others stop waiting for permission to live the life they want.

In recent months, I’ve started sharing more of my story—the travels, lessons, and experiences that took me from feeling invisible to becoming visible again.

If you’ve ever wondered who I am beyond the dog walks, I’d love you to join me.

You’ll find travel, adventure, life lessons, honest reflections, a few laughs, and hopefully some inspiration along the way.

I’d love to have you with me on the journey.

Mr.Paws took a couple of hours out of his day at the weekend to be himself, show up to something close to his heart, and be present and visible 🫶🏼

Pink to make the boys wink. 😉🌈

Well, that was the plan anyway…

Between some weekend dog-sitting duties yesterday, I managed to steal just a couple of hours for myself and headed over to the mini Pride celebration at Cator Park in Beckenham.

As a gay man who came out back in 1990, Pride will always mean more to me than rainbow flags and glitter. It’s about visibility, community, acceptance, and remembering how far we’ve come.

But yesterday wasn’t about the big stuff.

Yesterday was about sunshine, smiles, good vibes, and spending a little time surrounded by people who understand why Pride still matters.

And besides, if you’re going to pop along to a Pride event, it’s practically the law to wear at least a touch of pink.

Did it make the boys wink? The jury’s still out… but at 53, I’ll take a smile, a compliment, some new introductions and a couple of glasses of decent red wine as a win. 😏

Happy Pride, everyone. 🫶🏼

Be proud of who you are today. Because someone spent a long time fighting for our right to be exactly that.

I absolutely love this sweet boy! A beautiful bundle of furry joy 🫶🏻

There is a Wolf Moon supermoon visible tonight and dependant on the conditions (clear skies, etc) it could still be seen up to 10am on January 3rd in the morning. This first supermoon of 2026 isn’t the only sight you’ll be able to see in the sky this weekend. There will also be a visible Quadrantid meteor shower, which is active until January 12th and it shall reach its peak on January 3rd and 4th. This means that those lucky enough to view it will see a stunning display in the sky tonight. It is set to be one of the strongest meteor showers of 2026 and will feature ‘fireball’ meteors. You’ll be able to spot these thanks to their distinctive blue and yellow-white glow… much like a fireball! This is the last supermoon for 10 months and it shall be a significantly powerful and spiritual event believed to magnify emotions, desires, and behaviors, making the start of this new year a very potent time for self-reflection and personal growth. The heightened brightness is associated with bringing any hidden feelings, patterns, or truths to the surface, offering greater clarity and insight into one’s life path. Full supermoons are often seen as an ideal time for culmination and releasing what no longer serves you, such as old habits, fears, or relationships. It’s a great time to manifest your hopes and wishes. So dream big tonight!
