Stunning 16.1 hand approx rising 5yo dun Irish sport horse mare. Full breeding recorded on a green book - wonderfully bred.
Flo was purchased by a livery here on the yard but has unfortunately proven to be too green and needs more producing than they had hoped. Therefor Flo is sold from the field for a fraction of her true value to see her moved on to someone with more time and to save further livery costs.
Flo is a very quality horse who is lightly broken, and riding in all three paces. Ideal for someone wanting a quality smart horse to produce further. A kind mare who is easy to handle and to do in all ways.
Dam by Tullabeg Fusion line, renowned for producing athletic and trainable sport horses. The family has already produced international event horses, including Tullabeg Flamenco, who competed successfully at five-star and championship level. Her pedigree makes her well suited to eventing, showjumping, hunting or as a quality all-round competition prospect.

A lovely update from our returning customers, Tony and Rachel. ❤️

After having so much success and enjoyment with Otis, who was purchased for Tony, Rachel decided it was her turn and recently found her new horse, Percy, through us too.

What a last few weeks they’ve had! Otis was crowned both Prelim and Novice Champion 🏆, while Rachel and Percy are already proving to be a fantastic partnership, winning their very first Prelim class together 🌟

We are absolutely delighted for them both. There’s nothing better than seeing happy customers return to us and watching these partnerships flourish. Stunning 16.1/2 hand approx 5 year old Irish Draught X Cob mare. Has come directly from her long term home in Ireland. Lilly has been in a working livery yard and used lightly for a small variety of riders from competent novices up. Lily always wants to please, always tries her upmost and never says no. Loves her work whatever is asked of her. Lily has lightly hunted for the past season where she behaved wonderfully, jumping everything asked of her and stands when asked. Lilly is safe, sturdy and a sensible ride but equally forward, off the leg and doesn't lack quality. Would be a nice enough horse to show. Always snaffle mouthed, a lovely easy jump. Keeps a nice even canter to and from the fence. Brave and straight forward. Has been cross country schooling also. Good to ride on open spaces. Hacks well alone or in company. Suit most riders. Make a lovely allrounder / riding club / hunter. No vices, easy to do in all ways. Loves attention. A really kind horse. Recent clean vetting.

Stunning 14-14.1 hand approx 10yo sports pony. Stunning mare with a wonderful temperament. Sadly for sale due to children outgrowing.
Maisie has been ridden by a variety of riders. Maisie has also been used in a trekking centre up until this spring. Works well in the school. Hacks alone or in company although due to having young riders she would have hacked more in company.
Stands well when waiting to be mounted.
A lovely allrounder. Easy to do in all ways. Has been to shows - dressage, pony club and cross country and lots of beach rides all with young children. Maisie is forward enough without being sharp she is sensible and good breaks. Clean limbed, straight moving. No lumps or bumps

Three wonderful horses that we were lucky enough to find three lovely homes for, all at the same equestrian centre. 💗

It has been so special watching both the horses and their new young riders settle in together and begin their journeys as partnerships. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing horses matched with the right people and thriving in their new homes.

We love receiving updates and seeing the progress they are making together. Wishing all three combinations many happy years, wonderful memories, and lots of success ahead. ❤️🐴✨

You don't find these types very often. With her age and genuine wealth of knowledge. She really has done it all. Well looked after and cared for. Bella has a real rare quality to adapt to her rider, she will take a slower approach and look after her rider on a looser rein or will equally step up and ride in an outline.
Bella is a wonderful 14.3/15hand approx 10yo Connemara X Cob type mare. A type very hard to find. She will turn her hand to anything asked of her. She enjoys her schooling, jumping, hacking. She's certainly more woah than go. Bella is a confidence giving type. She is the perfect bit forward without being lazy but also not forward or sharp in any way.

Bella has been privately owned by one owner in Ireland, based directly on a vast open beach so brilliant in open spaces. Has had a variety of riders on her and Bella has had a real variety within her work. Trekking she is happy at the front or behind. She is never strong or gets buzzy.
Bella has done lots of groundwork. Bella has done a bit of showjumping, dressage and pole clinics. Sad sale due to owner at university. Good on the ground; to shoe, loads travel, bath etc.

Hacking she is faultless, she will hack within a group, or quietly hack alone. She isn't spooky, or looky in anyway. She is very laid back and never in a rush!

No vices. Lumps or bumps

She fills you with confidence.

Now on the market and ready to find her long term home. Absolutely stunning approx 16hand 13yo Irish Sport Horse mare. Imported from Ireland in 2020 where she has since had her loving long term owner. A very very heartbreaking sale on behalf of her owner so the very best of homes need only apply. Bella is coming from the most wonderful and genuine family. A genuine sad sale.
Bella is a much loved Irish mare with a brilliant all round attitude and a kind, genuine nature. Bella always looks after her rider. Over the last six years she has done a bit of everything with a young petite amateur girl rider including showjumping up to 1m, Pony Club clinics and shows, cross-country schooling, fun rides and plenty of hacking both alone and in company. She has been produced slowly and sympathetically with a focus on keeping her happy, balanced and enjoying her work.

Bella hunted in Ireland before coming to England as a showjumping/all-round prospect and has since proven herself to be a fun, versatile horse who loves attention and enjoys her job. She is beautifully mannered on the ground and a pleasure to handle in every way. She is excellent to load, travel, clip, shoe, hack, for the vet and dentist.

She enjoys jumping, liberty work, groundwork and spending time with her field friends. A forward-thinking mare when out at busy shows, but always genuine and willing. A lovely true all rounder looking for a home where she can continue having fun and being loved. Bella rides nicely on the flat. Simple and genuine to a fence, gives you a lovely feeling. Bella always try her upmost to please. Full history known, the type very rarely on the market. Full veterinary history known. No ongoing medical issues, treatment or medication required. Up to date with everything. Full wardrobe and tack available.

“We have just bought our first pony from Harriet at Cornerwood Stud. This was a huge deal (and dream come true) for us and, as relatively non-horsey (as in riding school level in childhood) adults with a horsey daughter we actually felt a little nervous as we embarked on this journey, especially with all the stories out there about how difficult it can be to get it right buying a horse.

Well, Harriet made us feel completely relaxed, we had total confidence in her and her advice was always right. She was so generous with her time, and no question was too small or silly for her to answer when we asked. Even several weeks later, she was still on hand for advice. This was utterly priceless. She clearly cares about her clients and her horses.

Cornerwood Stud is beautiful, the atmosphere is professional yet relaxed, and we feel very lucky to have bought handsome Oreo from there! 5 🌟 plus review “
