Please help us, I really am at breaking point today…

URGENT APPEAL – WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨
The past two weeks have been incredibly tough. We’ve faced over £400 in vet bills already, and today our little Puffin is very poorly and currently at the emergency vets. 💔

Running a rescue means we never know what each day will bring – but the costs are relentless, and right now we are really struggling to keep up. Every single penny we receive goes directly to the kittens’ care: vet bills, food, medicine, and keeping them safe until they’re ready for forever homes.

‼️We Are Desperately Asking for Your Help‼️

I hate to ask like this, but right now I have no choice and this rescue NEEDS your help.

Lily who came in yesterday has been extremely restless and still very bloated and we are keen to scan her if are there are any retained kittens. We simply do not have the funds for this right now. Lily was in desperate need of a rescue space and I simply couldn’t say no to her.

On top of the endless kitten milk, food, and vet bills for the kittens mums, babies, and orphans we’re caring for, this is pushing us to our limit.

We are fighting to keep going, but we physically cannot do this without you.

If you can spare anything at all, you will not only help Lily get the treatment she needs, but you’ll also help us continue to save the dozens of tiny lives depending on us right now.

We’ve had a hectic few weeks with a wave of new kittens coming in, and we’re reaching out for a bit of support to help cover their urgent vet care 💛

Just yesterday, we took in 4 very poorly kittens aged around 3–4 weeks – they’re severely underweight and all suffering from painful eye infections that need veterinary treatment. These little ones have already been through so much, and we’re doing everything we can to get them back on their paws.

💡 What your donation will help cover:
• Vet consultations & ongoing treatment for 4 kittens with eye infections
• Microchipping for 6 ready-for-adoption kittens (£30 per chip at our vet’s)
• Ongoing medication, flea/worm treatment, and basic care costs
• Supporting future emergency intakes we know are coming!

We’re a tiny rescue with no external funding – every donation, no matter the size, goes directly to the care of the animals. If you can help us get these babies the care they desperately need, we’d be so grateful. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would be a huge help too 🐱

Kitten season has well and truly hit us — and it’s hit hard. We’ve had vet visits to fund, medications to buy, specialist foods to get in, and round-the-clock care to give.

We’re self-funded and run purely on love and donations from kind-hearted people like you. But right now, we’re stretched beyond what we can manage. The bills don’t stop, and the kittens keep coming. We have a waiting list

Hi, I’m Becca – founder of Little Whiskers Kitten Rescue, a small but passionate independent kitten rescue I started in 2021. Since day one, this rescue has been entirely self-funded and run from my own home, driven by love, urgency, and a refusal to turn away those most in need.

We rescue, hand-rear, and rehabilitate orphaned, abandoned, and often critically ill kittens across Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire, and sometimes even Wales. Many of the babies we take in are just days or weeks old, requiring round-the-clock care, bottle feeding, and emergency vet visits.

Most come to us with medical issues—chest infections, parasites, injuries, or simply too weak to survive without intensive support. We give them safety, warmth, and every fighting chance.

As the rescue has grown, so have the costs. Vet bills, kitten milk, medications, supplies… it adds up fast. And now, during kitten season, we’re overwhelmed.

Little Whiskers runs purely on donations and heart. There’s no big organisation behind us—just me, doing everything I can to save as many lives as possible.

If you believe in what we’re doing, please consider supporting us. Every donation goes directly to care for the most vulnerable kittens—those who wouldn’t stand a chance without someone stepping in.

💔 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR PARSNIP 💔

Our sweet kitten Parsnip has taken a sudden turn for the worse. She’s currently at the vets on fluids and undergoing urgent treatment. A poo sample has been sent for testing to try and get answers – just today’s vet bill alone has already reached in excess of £400, this doesn’t include the cost of fluids and further medication.

We’re absolutely heartbroken watching her fight, but we won’t give up on her. Right now, we desperately need your support to help cover these rising costs and keep going. Every single donation – no matter the amount – makes a difference.

Special needs kitten looking for her forever home ✨

Jelly is now around 12 weeks old and is looking for her forever home.

As many of you know, Jelly is a special needs kitten. She has peripheral vestibular disease, she was born with this condition and will always live with it, though it can improve with time. She will always be permanently deaf, and she will always have a head wobble. Other than this she is totally normal, very playful, loving and adores humans. She doesn’t really enjoy being picked up as it disorientates her but she is very happy to sit on your lap.

She has a very loud purr, and is quite vocal, she doesn’t realise quite how loud she is when meowing!

She requires an indoor only home and preferably be the only pet. We may consider 1 quiet other cat but she can find them overwhelming so a very slow introduction would be needed.

If you feel you can offer this wonderful girl a forever home, we would love to hear from you 🩷🩷🩷

‼️Jelly update‼️

Sadly we have a bit of bad news, it’s looking like a brain condition with Jelly rather than an inner ear infection, as we have also located her siblings who are showing similar symptoms however Jelly is much more extreme than them.

This now leaves us in a difficult position of where we go from here, she ideally needs a full neurology referral to vet specialists and we are looking at a cost of £3000 approximately.

I have upped her fundraiser as we really really want her to be given the best possible chance like all of our kittens do and we really do need your help more than ever. Please spread the word and share and if you are in a position to help, please do.
