🐶🌅🐾 It’s so much nicer and cooler for our handsome boy Storm this evening - the gentle breeze, the calm air, the birds tweeting their “goodnight” songs, and this absolutely stunning sunset make it the perfect time to be out exploring together ❤️

Watching Storm enjoy the fresh air with that big Akita smile while the sky lights up in golden colours is one of those simple moments that reminds you how special these little adventures really are.

Sometimes the best part of the day is slowing down, feeling the cool breeze, and enjoying the world through a dog’s eyes 🐕✨

Whoever named them Labrador Retrievers clearly forgot to mention WHAT they actually retrieve… 😂🐾

…because Lester and Lloyd spent today retrieving every muddy puddle, swamp, bog and deeply questionable patch of water they could physically find within a 5 mile radius 💦🤦🏻‍♂️ and somehow, it was left down to me to go find and fetch the missing balls 🎾🫣🙃

At one point I’m almost certain they were working together tactically… actively sniffing out and hunting for the deepest, dirtiest and muddiest puddles possible just to make absolutely sure none of us made it home remotely clean 😂

And honestly… watching these two ridiculously handsome pooches this ridiculously happy - PRICELESS 😍❤️

Mud flying everywhere… tails wagging at 100mph… two oversized mud-covered torpedoes launching themselves through puddles like they’d just discovered the meaning of life 💚🌿

THIS right here is what happiness looks like 😍🐶🐾

Chaos. Adventure. Happiness. Mud.

The dogs were literally “Running Up (and down) That Hill” whilst Bella, Luca, Penny, Dolly & Roger dragged me up Pendle Hill felt less like a song choice and more like a personal attack 😂🐾⛰️

Spring mornings like this… they just hit different 🌿☀️🐾

Out with Skye, Bella, Roger and Luca this morning and honestly… it felt unreal. The sun breaking through the trees, lighting up the forest… the grass glowing in that fresh morning light… and four happy dogs absolutely loving every second of it 🐕✨

This is what it’s all about… fresh air, freedom, and dogs doing what they do best.

Shame about the rain this afternoon 🌧️… but even that has its own kind of beauty… slows everything down and resets it all ready to go again tomorrow 🌱

Spring has well and truly arrived… for now anyway 😏

Spring has well and truly arrived… for how long though?… no one knows 😅🌦️

But right now?… this is what it’s all about…

Luca towering like king of the hill… Skye calm, composed and taking it all in like she owns the view… Bella holding it all down and keeping us in check like the tiny boss she is… all of us out here and living their best lives captured in one perfect moment 📸✨

Fresh air… muddy paws… big views… zero worries…

This isn’t just a walk… this is what dogs were made for 🔥🐕⛰️🐾

🌧️💨 We beat the rain… but the wind had other plans! 💨🌧️

This afternoon’s Muddy Walks adventure with Bella, Spark and Gizmo was meant to be a washout… but somehow we dodged the worst of the rain (thank you, doggy luck! 🙌)… only to take a proper hit from that cheeky wind instead! 🌬️😂

It turned out to be a proper chill-ed, windswept wander up in the hills — the kind where ears flap, tails wag sideways and everyone ends up looking like they’ve been styled by a hurricane stylist 😅🐶

Bella was on full puddle inspection duty (obviously 👑🐾), Spark brought the bounce as always ⚡ charging up and down the hills like he had places to be, and Gizmo kept things cool and curious — nose down, sniffing every blade of grass like he was on a serious investigation 🕵️‍♂️🌿

We had a little splash stop at the water… well… kind of 😆 each of them politely dipped their toes in and decided that was more than enough for today thank you very much! 💦🐾

There was mud digging, grass sniffing, hill charging, and that lovely relaxed pace where the dogs just get to be dogs — exploring, playing, and enjoying the fresh air together ❤️

By the end of it… three happy, slightly windswept, very content pups heading home after a proper little adventure 🐶✨

This is what Muddy Walks is all about — whatever the weather, we get out there and make it count 🌿🐾

Round two of the snowy adventures… because one dose of snow clearly wasn’t enough ❄️🐾😂

This afternoon we took the madness to the hills with the ultimate snow squad – Gizmo, Bella, Winstan, Spark and Roger – and let me tell you… it was less “winter wonderland” and more full-blown snow-fuelled madness 🤣

Snowballs were chased like they owed them money… Zoomies were faster than my reaction time… And Bella (CEO of Muddy Walks 👑🐶) supervised it all like a tiny snow queen with a very big attitude 😅

🐶 Gizmo discovered that snow is basically edible sky…
🐶 Winstan tried to dig to Narnia…
🐶 Spark turned into a four-legged rocket 🚀
🐶 And Roger… well Roger decided he’s actually a professional sled dog – spending most of his time on his back, legs in the air, sledging himself down the hills like he’d trained for it his whole life 🤣❄️

And yes… I once again ended up nearly horizontal in the snow making accidental snow angels for the entertainment of the dogs 😂

Safe to say…

🐾 Tails were wagging
❄️ Noses were frozen
🐶 Every single dog had the time of their lives

These are the days your dogs DREAM of… muddy paws, snowy noses and full on adventure with their pack 💚🐕

This afternoon’s epic Muddy Walk ticked every box 🌧️💨🐾

Howling wind, sideways rain, deep squelchy mud, mountains (ok… big hills 😄), the reservoir, wild swimming, muddy puddles, giant rocks and pure, untamed freedom.

Luca, Bailey, Bella, Skye and Winstan went full adventure mode 🤎 Splashing like lunatics, clambering over rocks, charging through puddles, rolling in mud and living their absolute best lives – the kind of joy you can’t fake and can’t buy… only muddy dogs know it 😍🐕💦

This is what Muddy Walks is all about!..

Real adventures. Real stimulation. Real happiness.
