What we do 💁🏼‍♀️🐴✨

Next Gen Riders is dedicated to supporting passionate children and teenagers who already own or have access to their own horse or pony.

I provide professional, one-on-one mentoring and assistance to help young riders build stronger bonds with their horses, stay consistent with training, and keep their passion alive – even when family/work life gets busy.

What I offer (including but not limited to):

🧹Daily stable duties: Hands-on guidance with mucking out and grooming, teaching responsibility and horse care to British Horse Society (BHS) standards.

👩‍🏫Supervised riding & training support: Help with tacking up, riding sessions, and confidence-building on their horse – while following any schedules set by their instructor or coach.

🏇 I'm 5'6" and lightweight, so I can also exercise or care for your young rider's pony during school trips, holidays, or when they're unavailable. ☀️

🚌Inspiration outings: Accompanying to horse shows and events to watch top riders, learn new techniques, and fuel their ambition! ✨

✨️Competition & training day support: Acting as a dedicated groom or assistant on show days and training sessions – perfect for when you can't be there, or when an extra experienced pair of hands makes all the difference.

😎Fully qualified, insured, DBS-checked, and deeply passionate about helping the next generation of riders develop the skills, dedication, and joy needed to reach their full potential.

📆Flexible scheduling to fit around school, competitions, training, and family life.

🚗 Pick up/drop off available with milage costs.

Sessions charged per hour or day rates and week rates. Available for stay aways.

👣Hoof oil
This can come in black or clear and add a finishing shine to the ponys feet. This should be applied to the outside only. Don't apply before going in a sand arena 😀

🐴Coat shine
Just like furniture polish, this spray will leave your pony shiny but also slippy! Use after the stabled rubber for a clean shine.
Only use around the body and legs. If your pony is frightened of sprays, you could spray it onto a clean, stable rubber and wipe onto the pony.

👩‍🏫The Finishing touches✨️
Once you have completed grooming your pony, you can add some little extras to help you stand out ✨️
🐴Mane and Tail Conditioner - To help keep that mane qnd tail silky soft, always use a dandy brush first to get as much mud out as its much easier when it's dry mud, otherwise the sprays will make your pony's mane and tail dirtier. 🥲

This is a cloth and is used to wipe off dust from any area of the pony and give a finishing polish.

👩‍🏫The Mane and Tail Comb✨️
The mane and tail comb is used to pull the mane and tail and to help separate the mane when plaiting.
🎀Pulling the mane and tail helps to keep them tidy and workable. 🎀
You can get metal ones and plastic ones.

👩‍🏫The Metal Curry Comb 💥
Made of metal, this comb usually features a handle with a series of sharp, serrated edges or teeth. The comb may be round or rectangular in shape and is often quite sturdy.

The Rubber curry comb
👩‍🏫The rubber curry comb is used to loosen dirt, mud, and shedding hair from a horse's coat. It's also effective for massaging the horse’s skin and stimulating blood circulation.
Typically made of flexible rubber, the curry comb has short, rounded teeth.

🟢It’s best used in a circular motion to lift dirt and hair from the coat. Rubber curry combs are gentle enough to use on most parts of the horse’s body, except for the face.

🥰Besides cleaning the coat, using a rubber curry comb can be a relaxing and bonding experience for the horse, as it often enjoys the massage-like sensation.🥰

The primary function of a hoof pick is to remove mud, dirt, stones, and debris from a horse's hooves
It's important to clean your horse's hooves daily, both before and after riding, as well as after turnout.
