Some morning walks & pop in visits this week due to the heat!☀️🥵

‼️I have had 4 30 min regular walks per week come available‼️

Just a reminder with it coming into summer/hotter weather, if it’s too hot I offer pop in visits instead🐾
This includes: toilet break, playtime, fresh water, fed if needed, treats & plenty of cuddles❤️

Dogs in hot cars can overheat in minutes ☀️

Even on a mild day, temperatures inside a vehicle can rise dangerously fast even in the shade and with windows open.

A quick trip to the shops is never worth the risk. Heatstroke can happen within minutes and can be fatal.

No dog should be left at risk but those most prone to heatstroke include:
• Older or very young dogs
• Flat-faced breeds
• Dogs with thick or heavy coats
• Dogs with underlying health conditions

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke:
• Heavy panting
• Excessive drooling
• Breathing difficulties
• Lethargy or collapse
• Vomiting
• Loss of coordination

If you see a dog in distress or showing signs of heatstroke in a hot car, call Police Scotland on 999 immediately.

It’s that time again that some idiots are out walking their dogs or leaving their dogs in the car in this mad heat, your dog is not going to die from having a day in the house but might being out on a walk!! Do it early morning or late at night!!!!🐕‍🦺

It is so cruel! Try putting a fluffy jacket on, walking bare feet or sitting in the car with no aircon & you’ll see how they feel😡

As a dog walker instead of doing walks I offer either earlier morning walks before it gets hot or pop in visits instead. 🐾

I’m back to normal tomorrow lunch time as don’t get home until early hours tomorrow morning. 🥰
It has to be really hot so please be aware I might need to do pop in visits instead depending on the weather. 🥰💖
