Terms and Conditions – Complete Hoofcare
These terms govern all services provided by Complete Hoofcare, a barefoot farrier business offering trimming, boot fitting, hoof health consultations, and related services. By booking an appointment, the client agrees to the following terms:

1. Services Provided
Complete Hoofcare provides professional barefoot farriery services including:
• Hoof trimming
• Hoof boot fitting
• Hoof care consultations
• Maintenance and rehabilitative hoof care
All services are performed by trained, qualified personnel using best practices in line with current barefoot hoof care principles.

2. Appointments & Access
• Clients must ensure horses are accessible, clean, dry, and safely restrained at the agreed appointment time.
• If a horse is not present, is not adequately restrained, or the working area is unsafe, the farrier reserves the right to cancel the visit and a call-out fee may still apply.
• Surcharges may apply for delays caused by the horse or handler beyond 15 minutes.

3. Health and Safety
For the safety of all involved:
• Horses must be accustomed to handling and hoof care.
• Any history of aggressive, dangerous, or unpredictable behavior must be disclosed prior to the appointment.
• Complete Hoofcare reserves the right to refuse service to any horse that poses a risk to safety.

4. Payment Terms
• Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Accepted payment methods: Cash or Bank Transfer.
• Late payments may incur a 5% fee every 14 calendar days until settled.
• Failure to settle invoices may result in refusal of future service.

5. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
• Cancellations within 48 hours or missed appointments without notice may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service fee.
• In emergencies or severe weather, exceptions may be made at the discretion of Complete Hoofcare.

6. Liability
• Complete Hoofcare accepts no liability for injury to horses, handlers, or third parties unless due to proven negligence.
• The nature of barefoot and rehabilitative trimming means changes in movement or gait may occur, which may require follow-up care or monitoring.
• The client accepts responsibility for following all aftercare advice given.

7. Veterinary Collaboration
• We may recommend veterinary consultation if underlying health concerns are suspected.
• We will not proceed with trimming or hoof intervention if veterinary clearance is required and not obtained.
• We are happy to work in collaboration with your vet or other equine professionals where appropriate.

8. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
• Disclose any known medical or behavioral issues.
• Provide a safe, clean, and dry environment for hoof care.
• Ensure someone is present if required to assist with handling.
• Follow aftercare guidance provided by the farrier.

9. Photos and Media
• Photos or videos of hoof care work may be taken for educational, documentation, or promotional purposes.
• No identifying information (e.g., names, addresses, facial images) will be used without prior consent.

10. Inclement Weather or Emergency Situations
• In extreme weather or emergencies (e.g., injury, transport issues), Complete Hoof Care reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments at short notice.
• No cancellation fee will be charged in such cases.

11. Data Protection
• Any personal data (names, addresses, veterinary details) collected will be stored securely and used only for the purpose of managing appointments and services.
• We will never share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions
