Meet Mabel and Paddy! These two new big friends of mine are both huge love bugs 🥰 They have had me come for pop ins and overnight stays, with hopefully more to come!

Meet the team!
I’ve been hiding away on social media for a while so let’s start back with putting some names to faces!

I’m Bethan, the one in the pink jumper, and I am the owner of Those Old Pets! Nearly all communication will be coming from me, although I will apologise now that I can be quite slow to respond sometimes due to some chronic illness that I have to contend with. Please bear with me and feel free to chase me!

The other human is Charlie, my wonderful other half and bunmum, she often helps out with the business, occasionally covering pop-ins, or spending some time with any friends boarding with us. Sometimes she may be the face you see when dropping off or collecting your pets if I’m out and about elsewhere!

Then our three fluffy children, Greg, Bea and Houdini - but I’ll share more about each of them in another post!

Hey you! Don’t forget the shop is closed today (and Friday) while hoomum is busy gallivanting around Scotland.

You can still shop online and Bethan from Those Old Pets is at the shop tomorrow (8th) and will be packing up orders. She’s also feeding us as the hooms have abandoned us to fend for ourselves.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of bonding these two lovely bunnies for and the past few weeks. Banksy, who I’ve been fostering since January, met Babou, and it was love at first sight and they’ve been inseparable ever since 🥰💕

The worst part of this job is that animals never live as long as I wish they would. Tonight I’m sat thinking of all of the animals that I have had the honour of knowing during their lives, but especially of Alfie - a dog who has come to me so regularly that anyone who has seen me recently know exactly who he is. It was a pleasure knowing him and his wonderful parents, and an absolute privilege to be trusted to look after him 💕

We’d like to say a massive thank you to for donating some damaged bags to our boy Banksy when .co.uk went to go and collect hay from them the other day. He’s been loving the farmers blend so far - to think that he didn’t even like hay when he first arrived! 🥰

It’s been wet and windy, but at least me and Gandalf match perfectly 💛
