Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share a little update with you all.
As you know, I’d planned to come back part-time in February, but becoming a mum for the first time has been truly wonderful. While it definitely comes with its challenges, I’m absolutely loving every moment and soaking up as much time as I can with my little girl.

I've decided to take longer than initially planned, taking this month by month and hoping to be back around June-July when the weather is a little kinder!

I will absolutely be back — just not quite yet. I want to make sure I return when the time feels right, and I’ll keep you all updated as things become clearer.

Please know how much I miss you all (and of course, the dogs!) — and Betty is desperate to get back out there and see her pals again. We miss them so much.
Thank you, as always, for your kindness, patience, and understanding. It really does mean the world to me.

✨️ Hey Everyone ✨

Pop the kettle on and grab a brew, this is a little catch-up post from me ☕🐾
It’s been a bit quiet on here lately, but I promise it’s not because I haven’t been busy! Behind the scenes, I’ve been working hard to make sure all my lovely clients and their pooches are happy, cared for, and enjoying their walks to the fullest. Social media may have taken a back seat, but the dogs (and their wagging tails) always come first. 💛

On a more personal note, some of you may already know that I sadly had to say goodbye to my sweet Bubbles a few months ago. 🌈💔 She was by my side for 17 wonderful years and truly was my soul dog. Making the decision to let her go was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, free from pain. She will always hold a very special place in my heart. I miss her everyday and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her.

Now for some news I’ve been keeping quiet for a little while… I’m pregnant! 💕 I’m over the moon and can’t wait to welcome my first child, a baby girl, into the world at the end of November. My last working day will be 31st October as I begin maternity leave. All of my existing clients have already been updated privately about what this means for their dogs. Don’t worry though — this is just a break, not a goodbye. I absolutely love this ‘job’ and can’t wait to return when the time is right.

🌿Annual Leave Notice 🌿
I’ll be taking some annual leave from Monday 4th August to Friday 8th August. I won’t be contactable during this time, but I’ll be back and replying to messages on Saturday 9th August.

🌅 The early bird catches the worm 🐦🐾

Me and the pooches were up bright and early this morning. We were up and out to beat the heat and avoid the peak sun – all walks finished by 10am!

Shady woodland trails, a gentle pace, and plenty of water breaks kept everyone cool – and of course, we all had a paddle in the stream to top it off! 💦🐶

This week I got to welcome back the wonderful Benji! 🐾💙

He’s been on the long road to recovery after surgery for IVDD, and thanks to his amazing mum (and all her hard work with his daily physio 💪), Benji has been making brilliant progress and is now ready to start getting back to more regular exercise 👏

Today he had his first 30-minute solo stroll with me – slow and steady, just the way he needs it. 🐶🚶‍♀️

He’s still full of energy and personality, and honestly… my mornings just haven’t been the same without him. I’ve missed this little lad so much – it’s so good to have him back 💛

It's been a bit quiet on here… sorry about that!

I’m so sorry for the radio silence – it’s been a VERY busy few weeks here at Ducks Dog Walking HQ. By the time I’ve finished walking your lovely pooches, caught up on admin, and had some tea, I’m usually in bed by 8pm like a nana 👵🏻😂

BUT I promise to do better with posting! Especially because I’ve got some gorgeous new faces to introduce 🐾

Please give a warm welcome to Bear 🐻and Fergie 👑. Both are absolute sweethearts and have slotted into the gang perfectly. I’m honestly so grateful to be trusted with such lovely dogs.
