A Little Update 🐾💚

I’m finally home and beginning my recovery after surgery on my knee!

It’s safe to say I’ve never experienced pain quite like this, even considering all of my previous injuries! 😣

I had a very complex meniscus tear - a bucket-handle tear, where my meniscus had torn and flipped inside my knee joint and become stuck.
Unfortunately, this also caused another tear inside the knee which made it even more complex!

After surgery, I’m now focusing on resting, recovering and giving my knee the time it needs to heal properly. 🩷

I’m missing my dogs and my lovely clients already, and I’m so grateful for everyone’s patience, understanding and kind messages while I’m unable to get out and about.

I’ll be taking things one day at a time and will keep you all updated on my recovery. Hopefully it won’t be too long before I’m back out doing what I love - walking your gorgeous pups! 🐶🐾

In the meantime my parents and Hannah will be helping where they can with all your pups care until I can return ✨

Surgery completed, Finally heading home!

Hiya everyone!

I just wanted to give a little update to all my lovely clients 🐾💚

As many of you know I unfortunately sustained a knee injury at the beginning of July and have been on crutches since! It turns out I have torn my meniscus quite badly and require surgery to fix it. I will be going in for surgery this Friday so it’s definitely a lot more nerve wracking now but it’s nice to finally have answers!

I’m hoping I’ll be on the road to recovery very soon and getting back to looking after all yours pups! It’s been incredibly frustrating and hard not being able to come out and do the job I love so much! I’m so used to being super busy and out adventuring but not being able to do that hasn’t been easy!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all my amazing clients for all your patience and understanding as well as the lovely messages I’ve received, it honestly means the absolute world to me and I’m so sorry for all the changes recently!

I will keep everyone updated after the surgery and I hope it won’t be too long until I’m back out walking and looking after all your pups that I love with all my heart 🐾💗

🐾 Holiday Reminder 🐾

Just a little reminder that I’ll be on holiday from Saturday 1st August and will be back on Monday 10th August.

During this time I’ll be taking a proper break, so replies to messages may be delayed (But knowing me I’ll probably still respond! 🫣). Thank you so much for your patience while I’m away! 💚

As many of you know, I’m also still recovering from my knee injury. Unfortunately, I don’t yet know when I’ll be able to return to dog walking, as I’m waiting to see how things progress and what my physio recommends. As soon as I have a clearer idea, I’ll update everyone individually regarding bookings. For the mean time my lovely mum and Hannah are helping cover bookings until I can return 😊

I’ll be back from Monday 10th August to respond to messages, organise bookings and answer any questions.

Thank you all so much for your understanding, support and kindness over the past few weeks, it really does mean a lot. I can’t wait to get back to seeing all of your lovely pets as soon as I’m able as I truly do miss them all! 🐶🐱💚

🐾 Hiya everyone! 🐾

Just a little update for all my lovely clients.

Unfortunately, I injured my knee quite badly yesterday evening and ended up in hospital until the early hours of this morning. I’m still waiting to see how things progress over the next few days, so at the moment I’m not yet sure what next week will look like. I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I know more.

Also, with the warmer weather returning next week, walks may also need to be adjusted in line with my hot weather policy to keep everyone safe and comfortable. This could include earlier or later walks, shorter walks, garden visits, enrichment, or toilet breaks where appropriate.

Your dogs’ welfare will always be my top priority, and I’ll be in touch individually if any changes affect your bookings.

🐾 Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Dog Dads! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating all the dads who wake up early for walks, share their sofas (and sometimes their beds!), carry endless bags of treats, and never come home without a pocket full of tennis balls.

We hope you have a wonderful day filled with wagging tails, wet noses, and plenty of cuddles.

🌞🐾 Hot Weather Policy Reminder 🐾🌞

With temperatures set to rise again over the coming days, Evie’s Endless Adventures’ Hot Weather Policy will be back in place to keep all dogs safe and comfortable. 💚

As always, your dog’s welfare comes first.

During periods of hot weather, services may be adjusted depending on the day’s conditions. While forecasts give us a guide, I will always assess the weather on the day and communicate directly with owners if any changes are needed.

This may include:

🐾 Early morning or late evening walks where possible

🐾 Shortened walks

🐾 Toilet breaks and pop-in visits instead of full walks

🐾 Enrichment, playtime, fuss and fresh water checks at home

🐾 Cancelling walks if conditions are deemed unsafe

With temperatures forecast to reach around 31°C on Monday and Tuesday, it is highly likely that most daytime walks will be replaced with shorter toilet breaks and pop-in visits.

I understand routine changes can be disappointing, but hot pavements, high temperatures and humidity can pose serious risks to our dogs. I’d much rather be overly cautious than put any dog at risk.

Thank you all for your understanding and support. I’ll continue to monitor conditions closely and keep everyone updated as needed.

I’m so excited to officially introduce Hannah to the Evie’s Endless Adventures family! 💚

Hannah has joined the team to help provide the same loving, reliable care that you and your pets know and trust. She will primarily be helping with pet sitting services, as well as assisting with dog walks and covering services when I’m on holiday or if I’m ever unwell!

Finding the right person to join Evie’s Endless Adventures was incredibly important to me. I wanted someone who genuinely loves animals and shares the same values when it comes to providing the highest standard of care, and Hannah is exactly that person! 🐶🐱

As a fellow animal lover, Hannah is passionate about ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable and happy while in her care. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or a pet sit, she is committed to treating every animal as if they were her own 🐾

I’m incredibly excited about what this means for the future of Evie’s Endless Adventures. Not only will it allow me to continue offering a reliable service, but it also means even more pets can enjoy the adventures, cuddles and care that make this job so special. ✨

🐾 A little exciting update! 🐾

If you’ve been following along with both Evie’s Endless Adventures and Jack’s Hug in a Box, you’ll know I’ve been keeping myself very busy lately! 🤭

While spending my days out adventuring with your wonderful dogs, I’ve also been working hard behind the scenes on the next chapter for Jack’s Hug in a Box.

I’m so excited to finally say that plans for harnesses, collars, leads and other pet accessories are officially underway! 🎉

As a dog walker, I spend every day using and handling all sorts of pet accessories, so creating products that are practical, comfortable and look great has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

There’s still plenty of work to do before everything is ready, but I couldn’t keep it to myself any longer! I can’t wait to share more of the journey, from designs and samples right through to launch day.
