Interesting fact for half-term, a. group of cats is called a “clowder.” Clowder originates in Middle English from the term “clotter,” which meant, “to huddle together.”
Despite my experience and studies ... I never knew this!!! Castle Cat Care has its own honoury clowder!!

And the half-term is off to a busy start, with a full schedule. I am always so grateful to be able to spend time with your amazing furry, scaley, feathery pets.

We can highly recommend Castle Cat Care. Iona is a true animal lover and cares for our cats so well when we are away. She is caring, efficient and reliable and our cats are really happy when she visits.

These boys are such characters ....

Well nearly at the end of January and the light is returning ....Hurrah!!!
February reminders have been sent out - and the weeks ahead are looking busy. I can't wait to catch up with some furry and scaly favourites ...and to build bonds with some new faces.

The school holiday dates are filling up and we have bookings in the diary right through to next year. Its never too early to sort your pet care so you guarentee your pets and home are safe, and your holiday count down is stress free :-)

We have been busy with cat visits all over the christmas period and will be visiting more for feeds and fusses over the new year. And we have recieved so many cards, texts and unexpected presents.
THANK YOU to all our customers who have trusted us to look after your cats, hamsters, rabbits, ghekos, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, pups and birds and to all of you who have written a review; liked our page and recommended us ....we are so lucky!!

Can't believe christmas is almost upon on.... thank you everyone who have welcomed us in to your home and trusted us to look after your cats and small pets. And for all the christmas cards and gifts ..... I am so lucky.

We are fully booked over Christmas and New Year....but are taking bookings for 2025. Already the school holiday weeks are filling up - so please don't hesitate to contact us. It's never too early to book your pet care!

This is a plea to pay extra attention to our pets ...with such blowing, chilly, drizzly weather this weekend.
It's so easy for our outdoor pets to get cold or spooked.

Please make sure your caged animals are lifted off the ground, have lots of dry bedding and shelter and their cages are secure and covered....

Please make sure your cats are either in or have access to somewhere dry to shelter. Check their cat flaps work.... and try to encourage them to be in.
