We have had a great opportunity to gain funding to provide heavily subsidised services and would like to know what service you would prefer to access!
These would be small groups ran weekly in term time only for 2 hours at a time.

We discuss a lot about care for the ponies. Their needs and preferences. We reflect on what that may mean for ourselves and noticing our own preferences or if we don’t have a preference about some things. We notice what comes up within a session. But what about understanding what may have gone before? As this is not therapy but therapeutically delivered EFL sessions, it’s worth noting these vital signs of autistic burnout so that we may ALL take them seriously and can find the exact help that is needed ❤️

We are offering for anyone and everyone to access a new service offering.

Introduction session - Meet our ponies and find out about what we do here at Paddock Ponies CIC❤️

Horses are very special, just come and see for yourself!

Mondays 9am, 10am, 11am, Tuesdays 9am, 10am, 11am or Saturday sessions 9-3pm available.
Your session will be booked in advance, 50 minutes long and can include our sheep too or just the sheep if you’ve always wanted to know more about them! Sessions cost just £15 and are for one individual adult or one group of up to 3 including one responsible adult.

Show round of our facilities, brief overview of services offered, our vision and goals shared, feeding ponies and sheep, get to know them and a chance to ask questions!

Sometimes I work over at Pony Partnerships CIC: Equine Therapy Derbyshire. These photos don’t do justice to the magic unfolding but Chiara was first in the queue for buying straw, obviously! Insisted on the BOGOF deal on the large portion..
A snack of hay to Jesus and Colombo then cleaned and put away our tools. Was rather fun to see how the trolley washed up well from the trolley wheel wash station being conveniently in the carpark!
Our client led learning meets them where they’re at and engages them in their learning in a way that suits their preferences ❤️❤️❤️

A HUGE thank you to an amazing woman Erika Ravaszova for your support this week (and every week!) for we got another gateway prepared for any mud! We braved the rain and wind and got ourselves into a system to work efficiently and safely. Wonderful how we worked together 😂 🥰
Plus our official new signs came today so we will be putting them up in due course ❤️❤️

The cladding is in full swing now! So relieved as we are rather behind schedule, after significant snow stopped access to site for a few days. Looking to claw the delay back with the use of some genius outside lighting, on the inside! This means we can work into the evenings during the week, if weather/evening club duties permits!

Relationships can’t be scheduled time.
We can’t replace human contact with an object.
Learning to cope alone is not a strength.
We should embrace being able to connect.
We should avoid placing an expectation on young people to do the reaching out or seeking out.
Adults do the showing up, offering themselves.
Not asking for explanations.
(And if they need you lots, all the time then you know that’s because they need you)

This is how we build meaningful relationships.
Having support around is strengthening.
Feeling we are in a mutual relationship.
Not a burden.
No rush, no restrictions.
