🐴 Meet the Shires 🐴
Sapphire - 17hh 5 years old, she's our mini shire! the smallest more traditional Shire we have bred, currently being broken to ride, she's a real sweetheart, kind hearted, sensitive and quiet, she's not the boldest shire, prefers to watch and rarely follows when her field mates commit the great escape 🫡 😅

Jackpot Joy - 18.1hh Joy will be celebrating her 15th birthday on Sunday, she's the first Shire i broke to ride and what a legend she is, capable of carrying a novice safely but equally happy to step up a gear and go for a gallop with a more capable rider! 🏇🏻💨

🐴 Meet the Shires 🐴
Morning Sky - 18.2hh Sky will be 18 in July so she's our veteran (but don't tell her that!) affectionately nicknamed 'The Bomb 💣' simply because depending how she's feeling, she's either an angel to ride or she sees a cow and bolts 😅 her unpredictability makes for an interesting ride but we wouldn't change her for the world 🩷

🐴 Meet the Shires 🐴
Jumbo Jim - 19.1hh the biggest dinosaur we have on the yard! He turned 12 a couple of weeks ago.
I hand reared Jim as his mother sadly passed shortly after giving birth to him 😢 he is bold, bolshy, ungrateful, not frightened by anything and a real handful at times but on the flip side he is so affectionate and patient, he is very aware of my toddler in his stable and stands completely still whilst she insists on brushing his knees. In short, he's a one-off and my entire world revolves around this one Shire 👌🏻💙

Lady Chessington - 18.2hh celebrated her 10th birthday on Monday 🎈🎂
Chess started her ridden career very much happy to plod around as the safest Shire ever but around a year ago she decided to become the most wonderful opinionated, strong, joggy, sideways psychotic mare and i couldn't love her any more for it!! 😅 She's my partner in crime, loving our endurance adventures 🏇🏻

Our resident 'Sass-pants' Olympèa 17.2hh turned 6 this year!
An opinionated, stroppy little pocket rocket 🚀 with a heart the size of the ocean ❤️
She doesn't find many people that like to ride her but that's only because she's very picky about who she wants to spend time with 🤭 love her or hate her, she's unapologetically herself!!
