One of my wonderful cataract surgery patients was very lucky to have their surgery funded by Schnauzerfest and is back to joy and zoomies!! We are so happy for her ###

When Daisy was rescued from a puppy farm she was blind. Thanks to the amazing generosity of Chrissie and Fiona, Daisy recently underwent cataract surgery and is now enjoying a sighted, happy, active and wonderful life with Chrissie, who writes,

‘I just wanted to thank you again for your generosity.
Daisy was fearful of many things due to her cataracts and dreadful treatment in a puppy farm.

Since her surgery the change is remarkable.

Daisy had her one month check up, and was allowed off the lead and back on the beach which is her favourite place. She was so happy she couldn’t stop doing zoomies.

I would like to also thank Julia Henken, Consultant Opthalmologist at Eye Right Referrals and her team. They have done a remarkable job for Daisy and looked after me at the same time.”

Helping dogs who after losing years of their life to the breeding industry, get the chance to live their lives fully and with people who cherish them as they should always have been, THIS is what is all about 🧡

We had a fantastic time at Tayside Clinical Club last week teaching vets all about Glaucoma.

Glaucoma is high pressure inside the eye which can cause damage and lead to blindness.

We are working hard at Eye Right Referrals to find better ways of helping our patients and spreading the love of eyes to our Veterinary community.
