Meet Bodhi! Bodhi is our beautiful blue Holland lop bunny who is just 9 weeks old! 🐰
He is the most chilled out bunny we have ever met and loves nothing more than a good old snuggle!
Eventually, Bodhi and Shadow will be a bonded pair. Right now, they are both enjoying large hutches and runs to themselves and plenty of cuddles! They are next to each other to start the bonding process but it takes time😊
Bunnies are always better in pairs as they are social animals. Gentle exposure is generally the best way to create a strong bond and ensure it stays that way!

🐰Rabbits and litter trays🐰

Are you always finding your small fluffy friends tend to use one corner of their hutch to do their business?

Rabbits are especially clean animals and litter training them is fairly easy! It also means that keeping your hutch clean and hygienic is so much quicker!

Simply recognise where your pet has chosen for their toilet area and place a litter tray filled with woodshavings or hay in that spot. To encourage them further, you may pop some of their p**p in the tray. This will attract them to the spot!

Rabbits also like to eat hay whilst toileting, so why not offer some hay near the area too!

Don't forget to use a pet safe disinfectant in this area to keep it smelling nice and fresh.

Thank god the sun decided to shine because I was not looking forward to cleaning in pouring rain!

Meet Shadow. She is our beautiful Rex girl who is 17 weeks old but already acts like a teenager. The only way to get her to play ball for photos is the bunny bribe her with forage grass....she definitely rules the roost around here!

The kiddies are back to school which means we have a few more slots available next week for hutch cleans. Please pop us a pm if you'd like us to come along and make your pet palaces nice and sparkly!

Did you know about Flystrike?🪰❌

Flystrike is a parasitic condition caused when flies lay their eggs on our furry friends. These eggs hatch into larvae which then burrow into the pets skin. They then feed off the pet which causes pain, open wounds and in some cases, death.

Stinky hutches can be attractive to flies which then increases the chances of Flystrike.

It is so important to keep your pet housing clean and hygienic, especially in summer when the temperatures are generally higher. Regular weekly deep cleans help to keep your pets safe and healthy.

There are other reasons why Flystrike may occur, including the pet being senior and unable to clean themselves as effectively. A daily check on your pet will help to keep flies at bay. If you notice your pets bottom is dirty, simply clean it with warm water.

Another reason could be poor diet. It is really important to make sure your pet eats healthily to prevent loose stools which in turn can attract flies.

We are a friendly bunch, dedicated to providing exceptional pet care for your small furry friends. From hutch cleaning, to nail clipping and everything in between, we take the onus out of mundane pet care tasks so you can enjoy all the cuddles instead!

We pride ourselves on providing top notch cleans on a weekly basis or as a one off deep clean. We supply all the equipment needed including woodshavings, so you don't need to worry about storage or having to pop to the shop!

We will pop in at a time convenient for you, thoroughly clean your pets cage and pop one bag in your black bin once we are done. It couldn't be easier! We will also carry out a quick health check on your pet to make sure they stay in tip top condition.
