A great chance for the public to learn and ask questions about Louping Ill.
This is a tick borne virus that is sadly becoming more and more common.

Currently there is no cure.
If your dogs tests positive it needs to be put to sleep.

It is brutal!

However, Moredun Institute is in the process of developing a vaccine, but they need as much funding as possible.

🕷️Beth is the ‘Knowledge Exchange Specialist and Principal Research Scientist at the Moredun Institute’ where the vaccine is being developed.

How adorable is this little pup!

With puppies, it’s super important to handle them in lots of different ways, such as lifting their paws, looking in their ears and eyes.
Getting them use to brushes, hair dryers, scissors, nail trimmers … the lot!

By getting them use to all the equipment from an early age, when they do eventually go to the groomers it’s a relaxing experience for all.
