Hi I'm Amy, mummy to two, wife to a poor long suffering husband and menagerie owner to a whole host of furry and feathered freeloaders. I've always had animals and have worked in kennels, on farms, livery yards and as a groom over the years. I love being outdoors in nature so if you can’t find me at home I'm likely to be walking Harper (my 16.5 year old Cavachon) and Jim (our Border collie), down the fields with the horses or chasing a wayward goat around. After 18 years in elite sport and many years in administration, I have taken the plunge to do more of what I love and have spaces available from Mid-February 2024. 🐾 Important Update for Mossy Mutts Clients 🐾

Due to the ongoing rise in operating costs, including fuel and the general costs of running a small business, I have unfortunately had to make the decision to increase my prices from 19th November 2026.

The following increases will apply to all services:

🐶 Group walks: +£2 per walk
🐾 Solo walks: +£2 per walk
🏡 Drop-in visits: +£2 per visit

House-sitting prices will also increase, with updated rates discussed at the time of booking. A deposit will be required once dates are agreed to secure your booking.

Invoices will continue to be sent via the app at the end of each month, with payment due by the 1st of the following month. Please ensure payments are made on time so I can keep up with Mossy Mutts’ running costs.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. As a small business, it really does mean a lot, and I’m so grateful to have you and your lovely pups as part of the Mossy Mutts family. 💚🐶

Most of you will already know that I’m a horse girl. Having owned horses for most of my life, I still have Bobby, whose official job title nowadays is Head Gardener, and Daisy, the “Sh*tland”, both happily living out their days at HQ.

Yesterday, my friend and I finally got to enjoy our little birthday gift to ourselves and gallop some beautiful Shire horses through the gorgeous Derbyshire countryside.

Having been out of the saddle for the best part of a year, and with my amazing ride standing at 17.2hh and being very wide, it’s fair to say my body is feeling a little broken today!

Walks will, of course, still be going ahead tomorrow, but I suspect I’ll be moving a little slower and walking a bit gingerly than usual!
