Yesterday multiple rescues worked in a joint collaboration to remove 35, yes 35 cats from a single bedroom flat after the tenant was evicted.
The stench was unbearable, it was hard to breathe as the air was so thick with ammonia, there were kittens hiding in the compressor of a refrigerator, some cats had to be pulled out of the tumble dryer exhaust hose.
Two of the cats have poorly healed broken tails and a broken leg and of the 35, 8 are pregnant, so that's potentially another 40 plus kittens coming into the world depending on how far they're gone.
It's utterly horrific that somebody lived in this, but luckily all animals have been safely recovered, excluding the hundreds of cockroaches and flies πͺ³
