The sessions will progress from poles and flatwork to grids.

Russell is well known for his encouraging and supportive coaching style, making this a valuable and enjoyable training opportunity for all levels.

Whether you're looking to sharpen your flatwork, improve your horse's way of going, or build confidence over poles and grids, this promises to be a productive and enjoyable evening.

Intro Grids (up to 60cm)

Novice Grids (70-80cm)

Intermediate Grids (80-90cm)

In all groups the emphasis is on improving confidence, rhythm and gymnastic ability whilst having fun in a small, friendly group environment. ⭐

Minimum of 3 riders, maximum of 4 riders per hour group costing £23pp which is payable at time of booking.

If you are unable to make the clinic, I am only able to offer a refund if your space is filled with a horse/rider who is suited to fill your space. Like my private lessons, cancellations within 48 hours will still be charged at the full rate and no transfer or refund will be made.

Please rest assured that I will do my utmost to fill your space and the clinics usually have a waiting list! 🐴

🌟 HICKSTEAD SHOW JUMPING TEAMS 🌟

West Sussex Riding Club are excited to have the opportunity once again to compete at the amazing Hickstead!

This is always such a fun and friendly event, and we’d love to get some great teams together to represent the club 💙

Venue: Hickstead
Date: Sunday 26th July
Entry Fee: TBC

Teams will consist of 3 riders:
🏇 One rider jumping 75cm
🏇 One rider jumping 85cm
🏇 One rider jumping 95cm

Please comment below if you are interested in taking part and include the height you’d like to jump.

⏰ Entries need to be with me by 1st July so we can organise teams.

Area 13 combined training results!

Katie and Jimmy had a super clear round resulting in 2nd place and Oona and Wickie had a stop to look at the ditch but was still really pleased especially as Oona had to jump the 90cm after running late because Wickie decided she didn’t want to load! 🙈🐴

Very proud of both combinations and such a lovely team effort for West Sussex Riding Club 💙

✨ Russell Cooper Clinic at Oldwick Livery Yard ✨

We’re excited to be hosting a clinic with Russell Cooper at Oldwick on 14th May starting from 5pm 🐴

• £25 for members
• £30 for non-members
• Small groups of 4 riders

A great opportunity to train in a supportive, small group environment perfect for building confidence and improving your riding.

Russell is an experienced British Eventing Development Coach offering dressage, show jumping and XC tuition at all levels. Having competed at Advanced and CCI **** level he supports riders in goal planning, event preparation and improving performance.

Join us for a fun and relaxed clear round evening!
