These 2 little cutie pies are the reason I’ve been too busy to post on my cat page 🥹
They were born 2 weeks after Dolly’s kittens but unfortunately their mum rejected the litter and Dolly was too busy with her 5 kittens to take on any more so it was down to me to hand rear them 🫶🏻
I slept on the sofa for 5 weeks and set my alarm every few hours to hand feed them. Unfortunately their sisters didn’t make it and these 2 almost didn’t either as fading kitten syndrome kept trying to claim them 😥
One minute they’d be wriggle around and the next they were lifeless, limp and completely unresponsive. Very frightening to witness…. 😱
A couple of dabs of honey rubbed on their gums, vigorous body rubs and gentle mouth to mouth breaths eventually brought them back to life on 3 separate occasions each!
They’re now 10 weeks old and absolutely thriving, they do everything they’re supposed and some things that they’re not supposed to like climbing the curtains or climbing up me to sit on my shoulder and snuggle up for cuddles 🥰
All our kittens are super friendly and sociable but these 2 are something else! Because they were hand reared they are unbelievably loving and unbelievably friendly 🤗
I know when it’s time for them to leave to go to new homes I’m going to bawl my eyes out 🥹
