Morning, one of my porcelain girls, Anna, went broody a while back so we popped some eggs under her.

The weather has been very changeable so we weren’t sure if they would hatch. But two weeks ago 3 beautiful strong healthy porcelain Pekin chicks hatched 🐣 😍

Thor (Dad of the chicks) adores them and takes turns keeping them warm. It’s so wonderful to watch.

Making plans this weekend to get everything prepared for winter...as where they are now had huge drifts of snow last year, so we will definitely have to move them to a more sheltered spot.

Will take photos of the babies soon to show you all 🐣

Although loads of my mums chickens have started going through a molt...so I think mine might start moulting soon too.

I’m feeling very lucky to have these birds - their breeder has put a lot of trust in me to keep these breeding lines going and look after these gorgeous, super friendly birds
