Using the Sleip gait analysis system this week. It’s a really clever app that uses videos of the horse to assess symmetry of movement through their forelimbs and hindlimbs as well as their trunk. The benefit of this new gait analysis system is that it doesn’t require any motion sensors to be attached to the horse so is super easy to use. Looking forward to using it daily to enable an immediate assessment of each horse. These are then saved which means we can reassess and compare your horse throughout the season to monitor any changes in symmetry and lameness issues. This particular horse had a primary right hindlimb lameness and a secondary right forelimb lameness which is shown on the relevant Sleip graphs

1 year old Peanut and 11 month old Popcorn who where born on the farm are now ready to find their new home! Loving the sunshine this week whilst nerve blocking a clients horse , classically we had hired the indoor school to make sure we weren’t weather dependent but it turned out to be the most glorious day! ☀️☀️
