CaniParc16 is thrilled to be offering TWO fabulous new workshops this October, and we’re delighted to welcome Emma Lee Certified Canine Behaviour Consultant - Lighten-up Dog Training to lead these workshops.
Sunday 11th October
FROM REACTIVE TO ADAPTIVE Time 10H-16H Followed by
Q & A'S (1 hour lunch break)
A practical and fascinating workshop exploring how we can move beyond reactive behaviour and help our dogs develop more adaptive, flexible and emotionally regulated responses.
What will we explore?
- understanding what factors contribute to barking and lunging in different situations
- understanding the unique causes behind your dog's behaviour
- exploring different strategies to resolve barking and lunging that support your unique dog
- understanding management, behaviour modification and how to help your dog regulate their emotions
- practical strategies to manage challenging situations
Monday 12th October
Time 12H30 - 15H30 Followed by Q & A's
COOPERATIVE CARE
What is Co-operative Care?
A practical and fascinating workshop exploring how we can teach our dogs to actively participate in their own care.
We’ll look at how to build trust, choice and communication, helping our dogs feel more comfortable and confident during everyday handling and potentially stressful situations.
What will we explore?
- Understanding the principles of co-operative care including concent & agency
- building cooperative care from the foundations upwards
- understanding the nine steps to effective care
- exploring ways to change how our dog feels about grooming, muzzles, harnesses and veterinary procedures

Sunday 11th October €40
€20 deposit to secure your place with CaniParc16 immediately
€20 minimum donation payable on the day, which will go directly to Refuge de l’Angoumois SPA Mornac.
Monday 12th October €20
€10 to secure your place with CaniParc16 immediately
€10 minimum donation on the day, which will go directly to the Refuge de l’Angoumois SPA Mornac
