It’s that time of year again 🐷🐖! Show pig season is in full swing. Besides selling hay we also sell quality Lindner feed. We keep a fresh supply of all the popular pig rations and supplements and if we don’t have something you need we can usually get it in a day or two. Well after all the drought, rain, bugs, humidity, dust, and smoke we are finally back on track with our cuttings! This is my thirtieth year growing coastal and it’s been one for the books. We have Coastal and Tifton with a price for every budget. Horse quality rounds are $100 each and squares are $200 per bundle of 21. Round Cow and lower quality horse hay for $85 and some cow/goat hay for $60. We will have a few Sudan round bales available soon for $70 each and if you are ready to start your fall decorating or want to stock up on some winter bedding for pets and livestock we have wheat straw square bales for $8 each or $160 per bundle. We are thankful for the rain this year and thankful for great customers that keep us going.

We have fresh wheat 🌾 straw for animal bedding, gardening, mulching, erosion control, construction, Halloween 🎃 decor, you name it. No chemical pesticides or herbicides were used on the fields. Small two string bales in 21 bale bundles for $150 or single bales $8 each. Quantity discounts on 25 bundles or more. One bundle fits in the back of a regular size pickup 🛻 truck.

Beautiful pea green, angel 👼 hair soft coastal. If you like fine stemmed coastal with good color this is it. Second cutting fertilized, irrigated, and always w**d free. 21 bale bundle $230 or single bales for $11. No Tifton squares available yet but we do have rounds of Tifton for $120.

Demo day this Friday 10:00 am at our farm. We had a nice rain last week and we hope it keeps coming but we all know we will have to help out with supplemental irrigation. We have been using one of these machines for 5 years now to water smaller fields and pivot corners. Vaughan is bringing several machines to demo and they will have extra savings on those machines. Was a busy week hauling hay downtown to the San Antonio Pumpkin Festival. Pretty cool place right in downtown SA! Lots of fun activities crammed into this little lot. It was pretty interesting getting the trailers in and unloaded with down town traffic.

Besides selling quality hay we also sell Lindner’s show feeds and ShowFlake brand shavings. We keep most of the popular show pig rations in stock at the farm.
