I have to say , in the twelve years we have been in business and the hundreds of dogs we have walked in that time we have only encountered about 5 or 6 dogs who have REALLY pulled and/or swerved wildly, in a different direction , causing sharp, painful twisting of ribs, spine and knees and painful pulled shoulders .

We never walk dogs, who do not know us well enough to respond to our comnands, off their leads.
Effective lead training is good, and safe, for the dog and a delight for those who walk the dog.

Researchers recommend teaching "optimal dog walking practices" and enforcing proper dog training to minimise the chances of them hurting their human companion.

Sharing this again as it makes me smile . Two superb dogs. Sadly Pippa has left us now but she left such wonderful memories with us.

Poor baby must have been terrified 🙀

A female cat called John was found with her head poking out one end of a pipe and needed to be rescued by firefighters.

My last morning walk with my buddies Pippa and Jaques.
Very, very wet underfoot. I have got through four pairs of walking boots this week and eight pairs of thick walking socks.
I'm certain I've got webbed feet 🦆🦆🦆

The pups are truly unconcerned 🐶🤣🐕‍🦺😂

And finally, just ten minutes ago, the endless, endless rain has stopped.☔☔☔
We have two wet dogs, one wet dog walker (it was B's turn this evening, mine this morning) lots of wet boots and clothing hanging on the airer, but hey, there's some sunshine now 🌞🌞🌞

I think the cooler nights are bringing all the cats in to snooze indoors.
Here's a selection from this evening. We had Mutti, Popps and Trixie Belle snuggled around with us and the dogs. Susie was asleep on the chair in the utility room and we've still not seen Molly. Our clients say her appearances are quite rare now as she seems to prefer being an outdoor cat. We live in hope she'll join us one evening.
