Sylikukko Munakokkeli haluaa kertoa, että Frittasin Airbnb avataan taas ensi viikolla!

Tulethan vieraaksemme vain terveenä, ethän ole matkustellut ulkomailla edeltävänä kolmena viikkona, ja toivottavasti olet ottanut myös ainakin ensimmäisen rokotuksen, koska ihmisperheessämme asustaa riskiryhmään kuuluva.

Nyt nauttimaan kesästä ainutlaatuiseen, pääasiassa vanhojen puutalojen kyläraitin Lapinjärven Vasarankylään! Lapsiystävällinen uimaranta leikkipuistoineen lähellä (n. 350m), soutuvene vuokrattavissa vielä lähempänä, pihaltamme näet jääkauden muovaama jylhät kalliot ja upeat lenkkeilymaastot, lähimmälle laavullekin on kävelymatka, ja kylämme keskustaan kahvila/ravintoloineen, ruokakauppoineen ja muine palveluineen on silti vain noin 900m! Upea vanha Porvoo, shoppailuhaluisen Kouvola ja merellinen Loviisa ovat lähellä.

Frittas AirBnB has closed its door from guests due to the COVID-19 pandemic until the world will be a safer place again.
But, our little cabin does not have to be lonely - I am using it as my temporary office/study as long as we dare to open our doors to guests again.

My favorite season, autumn, has finally arrived to Frittas! Munakokkeli (Scrambled Eggs) the rooster and his ladies love the weather after rain , as the gifts of Mother Earther are plenty (=worms and snails). We have no guests at the moment, so I am using the opportunity to work in peace by writing in the cottage - our Airbnb is a gret hideaway for quiet working time for authors, students, journalisti etc.. 😊 The picture is take from the cottage's front porch.

Should we make wine and call it Chatêau de Frittas, or just eat our fist ever batch of grapes? What do you think?

Making sea buckthorn juice from the berries growing on our yard, right by our Airbnb cabin! Did you know, that one tiny sea buckthorn berry contains as much vitamin C as one orange? If you feel like getting a flu, come to stay with us and you will get "flu shots"😀 No needle needed, just a tiny glass for our non-alcoholic super food drink!

Good morning from the Frittas farm! Our youngest, Sofia, let our new chicken out for the first time here! It was so much fun to see Munakokkeli (=Scrambled Eggs) the rooster and his ladies Chick Named Wanda, RuPaul and Chick-quita getting to know their new yard (and a bit of the neighbour's...)! Munakokkeli was practicing his cockadoodledoos with the help of the neighbour's rooster, and he's almost getting it right now 🤪

It's cherry picking day in Frittas! Cherries are, along with mangos and avocados, my favorite fruit. I think I'll make some cherry jam for our guests to enjoy with our yummy, fresh breakfast that can be bought with a very affordable price! Pre-order the breakfast, as availability depends on our work and our kids' school schedule 🍌🍒🥐🍞🥞🧇🥓🥪🥚🥣☕
