It makes you realise why we rescue the doggies and why we so wish to continue.

This is Dutton the dope, the biggest dopiest, softest dog I’ve ever owned.
He’s a spainish rescue dog, (from Mazs Canine Rescue, Tijola, Spain ). We live in Essex. ,Myself, my child and two other dogs.
Upon losing our big doggie our hearts were completely broken. We, as a family, were in pieces. The world, for us , suddenly felt very dull and things that was once bright and beautiful had lost their shine, until I stumbled across Dutton (blu).
This young, stunningly beautiful beast, who was miles and miles away from us, yet we just knew there was something truly special about this boy.
As a mum with a young child and 2 other dogs rescuing was a scary prospect but Mazs Canine rescue made it safe and easy. We got some background on our boy, saw him on FaceTime and spoke to Sarah about all his quirks and past. Nothing was hidden from us. We were hooked. The floppy puppy was ours.
Fully vet checked, vaccinated and nuetured he was put on the transport to us.
When he arrived, like most rescue dogs, he was quite timid and just terrified of the world, but within 24 hours he was up on the sofa making it clear we was his people and this was his home.
He was quick to learn and almost grateful for the attention. He was surprisingly quick to learn, showing he wasn’t a complete dope, He took to my kid like he was a long lost sibling. Dutton decided our sausage dog was his emotional support buddy and would copy everything the sausage dog would do, much to my despair as the sausage dog is a menace!
Now I’m not saying it been plain sailing and my days have been filled with sunshine and roses but my heart is completely full. Like I said there really is something quite unique and special about a Spanish rescue dog. They are the most loving dogs. They seem to be grateful for a second chance at life. Miles away from all they have known they adapt with love and affection They also have a wicked sense of humour. I haven’t laughed so much in forever. They have larger than life personalities and some very odd quirks.
I didn’t just adopt a beautiful dog. I now have the pleasure of supporting his peanut butter addiction but boy does he deserve it !.. I wouldn’t change him at all he’s taken every challenge I’ve put in his way to expose him to the good life, with a wagging tail and a cheeky grin. The level of trust he has placed into our hands, after such a short time, is testament to Mazs Canine Rescue. The dogs haven’t always known love but they truely give all the love they have with one simple request of "please love me to" . I honestly don’t think I would go elsewhere for a dog ever again and if I could I’d take them all, but for now Dutton really was the gamble that paid off and I would recommend Mazs Canine Rescue and her doggies to anyone who wants a life long best friend.
Have patience understanding and you get the best dog you’ve ever owned. Dutton had some big paw prints to step into and he’s definitely walking side by side with my "heart" dog, the best dog I’ve owned. Even if he will bankrupt me with amount of peanut butter I buy. I split my side with laughing at his antics and occasionally, has me pulling out my hair with his naughty puppiness but he’s a keeper he really is ❤️
