Our aim is to prevent unnecessary suffering and rehome the many abandoned dogs within the Costa Blanca area. At just 4 weeks old, little puppies Pako, Pepe, Pascu and Patri are already enjoying extra cuddles from volunteer Mandy.
They also love exploring, discovering new things, and wobbling around together with all the curiosity that puppies have at this age.
Pako has already been reserved, and we’re hoping the others will soon be too and be ready to go to homes of their own. Until then, they’re receiving lots of love, care and attention while they grow and gain confidence.

Con solo 4 semanas de vida, los cachorritos Pako, Pepe, Pascu y Patri ya disfrutan de los mimos extra de la voluntaria Mandy.
También les encanta explorar, descubrir cosas nuevas y dar sus primeros pasos juntos con toda la curiosidad que tienen los cachorros a esta edad.
Pako ya tiene un hogar reservado, y esperamos que los demás también lo tengan pronto y estén listos para irse a sus propios hogares. Hasta entonces, reciben mucho amor, cuidados y atención mientras crecen y ganan confianza.

Ares and Adriel arrived with 12 other dogs from very difficult circumstances. None of them had ever really been touched or handled.

While they all arrived frightened and unsure, Ares and Adriel are the most nervous of them all. Ares becomes so fearful that he will poo when he is picked up.

Every sound, movement, and new experience is still very scary for them, but slowly they are beginning to learn that we are here to make them feel safe.

Right now, they need time, patience, and calm support while they build trust and confidence.

Ares y Adriel llegaron junto con otros 12 perros procedentes de situaciones muy difíciles. A ninguno de ellos se le había acariciado ni manipulado nunca de verdad.

Aunque todos llegaron asustados e inseguros, Ares y Adriel son los más nerviosos de todos. Ares se asusta tanto que se hace c**a cuando lo cogen en brazos.

Cada sonido, movimiento y nueva experiencia les sigue dando mucho miedo, pero poco a poco están empezando a aprender que estamos aquí para que se sientan seguros.

Ahora mismo necesitan tiempo, paciencia y apoyo tranquilo mientras van ganando confianza y seguridad.

Mary’s Puzzles is a fantastic free monthly magazine packed with brainteasers, created especially for the Dutch, British, and Belgian communities living in — or visiting — the Costa Blanca. For many readers, it’s more than just entertainment; it’s part of their daily routine and a wonderful way to stay mentally active and engaged. Each month, the team at Mary’s Puzzles kindly features one of our dogs in the hope of finding them a loving home.
This month features the gorgeous Elfie, who loves cuddles, walks and would make a super companion.

Little Valentino was 2 weeks old yesterday, and to celebrate the occasion, he opened his eyes for the very first time. He is growing stronger every day.

Wow, aren’t they stunning? These gorgeous boys are now just over 4 weeks old and growing fast.
Pako, Pascu, Patri and Pepe are going to be much bigger than their mum! They’ve now started walking around and exploring, and their little personalities are already beginning to shine through.

A huge thank you to Oasis Bar who recently held a fundraising event in support of six charities. We were delighted that SAT was chosen as one of the charities to benefit.

After 2 years, 3 months and 4 days with us, the wonderful Rona has finally been adopted.
And just look at her now — completely settled into her new life as though she has been there for years already. Seeing her so relaxed, happy and at home makes every day of waiting worthwhile.
Rona’s adoption may have taken longer than we hoped, but the right home was worth waiting for. Wishing her and her new family many happy years together.

Después de 2 años, 3 meses y 4 días con nosotros, la maravillosa Rona por fin ha sido adoptada.
Y miradla ahora: se ha adaptado perfectamente a su nueva vida, como si llevara allí años. Verla tan relajada, feliz y a gusto hace que cada día de espera haya merecido la pena.
Puede que el camino de Rona haya sido más largo de lo que esperábamos, pero mereció la pena esperar al hogar adecuado. Le deseamos a ella y a su nueva familia muchos años felices juntos.

Little Valentino is now just over a week old and thankfully continues to do well
He is a tiny mini me of his mum Vianey, and we are so relieved to see him thriving and mum continuing to care for him so lovingly.
We are keeping everything crossed that they both continue to get stronger day by day.

El pequeño Valentino ya tiene poco más de una semana y, por suerte, sigue estando muy bien.
Es una versión en miniatura de su mamá, Vianey, y nos sentimos muy aliviados al ver que crece sano y fuerte y que su mamá sigue cuidándolo con tanto cariño.
Cruzamos los dedos para que los dos sigan ganando fuerzas día a día.
