قطة لسانها كان مقطوع…
جت العيادة في حالة صعبة جدًا.
عملنا لها تدخل جراحي وخياطنا اللسان،
وخلال أسبوع واحد رجعت تاكل وتعيش حياتها بشكل طبيعي 🤍🐾

الحالات دي بتفكرنا إن التدخل السريع بيعمل فرق كبير.
لو عندك أي حالة محتاجة تدخل أو إسعاف فوري،
كلمونا فورًا — إحنا موجودين عشان ننقذ حياة.

Many cat poisoning cases happen because kerosene is used to kill parasites.
‏But it’s important to know that kerosene is highly toxic, causing:
‏skin burns, breathing problems, vomiting, tremors, and serious liver & kidney damage—and it can become life-threatening.

‏So please, never apply chemicals on pets.
‏If you notice any unusual symptoms, go to the nearest vet clinic immediately for early treatment.

في حالات كتير من تسمم القطط بتحصل بسبب استخدام الجاز بهدف التخلص من الحشرات.
لكن مهم نعرف إن الجاز مادة سامة جدًا وبيعمل:
حروق في الجلد – صعوبة تنفس – ترجيع ورعشة – وتأثير خطر على الكبد والكلى… وممكن يوصل لحالات حرجة.

علشان كده، بلاش أي مواد كيميائية على الحيوانات.
ولو ظهرت أي أعراض غير طبيعية… الأفضل التوجه لأقرب عيادة بيطرية فورًا علشان يبدأ العلاج بدري

Poosy, a 5-years old female cat came to VEC for its deworming schedule.
Vet. Farah doubted about the cat general health. By asking the owner about her estrus behavior, he confirmed that Boosy never showed estrus or seek mating for several years, at this point the image starts to make sense.
Dr. Farah did the required ph.ex at it Boosy showed abdominal pain on palpation, then U.S showed cystic o***y which is very rare case in queens
It’s an emergency requires surgical interference (the first choice of treatment)
at the same day Dr.Ahmed naseem did the surgery and it went on a very good way

a week post-surgery poosy’s behavior turned around 180⁰ & acting very good

القصة دي لازم أشاركها معاكم 😸

بوسي، قطة عندها ٥ سنين، جت لمركز VEC عشان تاخد جرعة الديدان العادية.
لكن الدكتورة فرح لاحظت إن شكلها مش طبيعي وسألت صاحبها عن سلوكها، فوضح إن بوسي عمرها ما دخلت في دورة شَبق (حرارة) ولا حاولت تتزاوج من زمان، وده خلّى الدكتورة تشك في حاجة.

بعد الفحص، بوسي كانت بتحس بألم في بطنها، ولما عملت لها سونار اكتشفت إن عندها تكيس في المبيض، وده نادر جدًا في القطط.
الحالة كانت محتاجة عملية جراحية فورية، وفعلاً الدكتور أحمد نسيم عمل الجراحة في نفس اليوم والحمد لله العملية نجحت.

بعد أسبوع، بوسي بقت زي الفل وسلوكها اتغير تمامًا ❤️

Mammary Gland Tumor

Last month in VEC, we examined an 11-year-old Golden Retriever presented with a firm swelling in the first cranial mammary gland that had been growing gradually over the past few months.
After a thorough physical examination and general health evaluation, the case was diagnosed as a mammary gland tumor, a condition commonly seen in intact older female dogs, especially large breeds like Golden Retrievers. Mastectomy proceeded of the affected gland under general anesthesia. Although the mass weighted 1KG, Surgery went on a good way.
The dog recovered very well with postoperative management included antibiotics, pain control, and daily wound care.
We’re happy to share that she’s now healthy, energetic, and doing great!
💡This case served as an important reminder of the value of early detection and preventive spaying before the first or second heat cycle, which can significantly reduce the risk of developing mammary tumors later in life.
💡For pet owners:
If you notice any lump or swelling around your dog’s mammary glands, don’t ignore it. Early veterinary assessment and timely surgery can truly make a life-saving difference.
ورم في الغدة اللبنية

في الشهر اللي فات في VEC، جالنا كلبة جولدن ريتريفر عمرها 11 سنة عندها ورم صلب في أول غدة لبنية في الناحية الأمامية، وكان بيكبر بالتدريج من فترة.
بعد الفحص الكامل، اتضح إن عندها ورم في الغدة اللبنية، وده من الحالات الشائعة جدًا في الكلاب الكبيرة غير المعقمة.
تمت عملية استئصال الغدة المصابة تحت بنج كلي، وكانت الكتلة حوالي 1 كجم، والحمد لله العملية تمت بنجاح.
الكلبة خفت كويس جدًا بعد الجراحة، واتعالجت بـ مضاد حيوي، ومسكنات، وتنظيف للجرح يوميًا.
ودلوقتي الحمد لله بقت بصحة ممتازة ونشيطة جدًا ❤️

💡 نصيحة مهمة:
التعقيم المبكر قبل أول أو ثاني دورة بيقلل جدًا من خطر الإصابة بأورام الغدة اللبنية في المستقبل.

💡 لأصحاب الكلاب:
لو لاحظت أي كتلة أو تورم حوالين الغدد اللبنية عند كلبتك، روح للدكتور فورًا — الكشف والعلاج بدري ممكن ينقذ حياتها.
