Understanding your horses body language is crucial in working with these animals.
From an osteopathic point of view it's important to understand that pain or discomfort provoked during training also can elicit this behavioural patterns - early signs to check your horses physical state if other (environmental) factors can be ruled out in this particular situation.

Horses demonstrate body language to indicate low levels of stress, discomfort with or uncertainty in how to respond in a situation or to diffuse tension in a situation both with conspecifics and interspecies.
