It has already been a few days but the clutch from Ben and Cyrilla finished hatching.
All 17 little shoelaces made it out of their eggs and are going through their post-hatch shed soon.
Unfortunately, Cyrilla's 66% ph Stripe did not prove out so we "just" hatched some Honey and Lemon.
There are some really light Lemon with interesting pattern that almost look like Shatters, so we are probably going to keep one or two 😁

And there it is, Titania's second clutch finished hatching 🥰
Just as lively and feisty as the first and totally expected from bull snakes.
Nice bunch of Ivory, Albino Ivory, Axanthic Ivory or Ghost White-Side and Snow Ivory. All het. Axanthic Patternless 66% Albino if not visual 🤩

It has been a while but the next clutch finished hatching 🥰
The parents are Erylin, our 0.1 Ice (Lava Anery) Bloodred hom./het. Hypo and Ishaq, our 1.0 Bloodred Pied 66% Ice (Lava Anery).
And guess what... Ishaq proved to be het. Anery as well as het. Lava 🤩🥳
So, from the 16 eggs (even the one that got laid a day later hatched) hatched a nice variety of Bloodreds, Lava Bloodreds, Granites (Anery Bloodred) and Ice (Lava Anery) Bloodreds.
Since we did not confirm yet whether Erylin is hom. or. het. Hypo, all offsprings will be labeled as 50% ph. Hypo as well as 100% Lava Anery if not visual.
In the next days Titania's (bull snake) second clutch should be hatching and 1-2 weeks after that it will be time for Cyrilla's (corn snake) eggs 🥰

Last friday our first bull snake clutch began to hatch. We were very excited since it was a first for us but also because we would find out if Titania is het. Albino Axanthic (B) or not. And what do you know, she is het. for both 🥳
It took a while for all 17 hatchlings to come out of their eggs, but by Tuesday they had managed. Titania gifted us

2 Ivory [Hypo (TB) White-Side] Snow [Axanthic (B) Albino] het. Patternless
1 Ivory [Hypo (TB) White-Side] Albino het. Axanthic (B) Patternless
6 Ghost [Hypo (TB) Axanthic (B)] White-Side het. Patternless 66% ph. Albino
8 Ivory [Hypo (TB) White-Side] het. Axanthic (B) Patternless 66% ph. Albino

Can't wait to see how the little ones will grow and develop 🥰

While we were busy at the Houten show yesterday, one of our female corn snake had also been very busy.
Amber, our 0.1 Cinder Pewter [Charcoal Bloodred] 66% ph. Lava 50% ph. Hypo (produced by Austrian - Corns), laid 22! good eggs.
She was the last one to still lay her first clutch and was paired to Chase, our 1.0 Hypo Shatter [Sunkissed Cinder] (produced by Svenja Schlimme).
Offsprings will all "only" be Cinder het. Hypo Sunkissed Charcoal Bloodred, maybe we will have some Hypo Cinder if Amber proves to be het Hypo. But they will be the start for our future project to produce Hypo Pewter Shatter, which will hopefully be quite dark colored with some nice unique patterns ☺️

This sunday, 07.06.2026, we will be vending at the Terraria show in Houten. Our table is I9, in the big hall on the left side, second last row.
We still have a few hognose snake offsprings from last year and we will also bring a few adults.
Come by and say hello. Looking forward to meeting you all 😊

Since it will not be long anymore until our first clutch hatches, we thought we would show a little comparison of the egg size for the two species, bull and corn snakes, that we bred this year.
The bull snake egg is just a tiny bit bigger (about 5x) than a corn snake egg.
First bull snake eggs started denting, so just a couple more days until we have our first clutch of feisty noodles ever 🥰

Breaking our friday egg laying streak is Lady Titania, the very one that started it.
Last thursday she surprised us with her second clutch, another 14 good eggs.
She refused her last two meals, so we knew something was up, but still hoped she would not have a second clutch since it is always an additional burden on the body and stress for the animal. We did not pair her again after her first clutch, not encouraging a second one, but they are always a possibility and apperently she had other plans.
So we have a total of 31 bull snake eggs cooking right know.
First ones should be hatching in about 2-3 weeks :)

And the next friday clutch landed yesterday :)
Cyrilla, our 0.1 Butter [Amel Caramel] Orchid [Sunkissed Lavender] het Hypo ph Stripe (produced by Future-Morphs), presented us with 17 good eggs.
She was paired with Ben, our 1.0 Lemon [Hypo Sunkissed Caramel] het Stripe (originally produced by MyKorni.de).
Hatchlings will be Honey [Sunkissed Caramel] het Hypo Amel Lavender ph Stripe and Lemon [Hypo Sunkissed Caramel] het Amel Lavender ph Stripe as well as Stripe variants of both if Cyrilla proves het Stripe.
Again, in about 70 days we will have our answers :)

Seems like fridays are egg laying days for us this year. First we got bull snake eggs on Good Friday and last Friday our first corn snake clutch was laid.
Erylin, our 0.1 Ice [Lava Anery] Bloodred hom./het. Hypo (produced by MoonLight Corns) was paired with Ishaq, our 1.0 High Pied Bloodred 66% ph. Ice [Lava Anery] (produced by Stunning Snakes).
On Friday Erylin laid 15 good eggs, no sluggs. But unfortunately it was clearly visible that she still had retained one egg in her.
We gave her a little warm bath to help her relax a bit and fortunately she was able to lay the egg a day later without any additional help. The egg looked ok, but only time will tell if it is going to make it.
All offsprings will be Bloodred and hopefully we will have a few Pieds too. Would also be awesome if Ishaq proved out one or both of his ph.
In about 70 days we should have some answers :)
