Has anyone heard of Excidobates mysteriosus localities/variations/morphs/colors?
I have two groups from different sources and one just seems to have the spots more white-ish (top) and the second more contrast and a slightly blue-ish (bottom).
Can you see it or am I just trying to find something that’s not there? 😅

Slyšel jste někdo o tom, že by E. mysteriosus měli odlišné lokality/formy/mutace?
Mám dvě skupiny z různých zdrojů a jedna má fleky více do bíla (horní) a ta druhá se mi zdá více kontrastní s fleky s modrým nádechem (spodní).
Vidíte to taky nebo jen hledám něco co tam není? 😅
Budu ráda za jakékoliv postřehy.

I thought I’m done with the species list 🤪
They are not included in the reptile/frog room because of their need in lower temperatures and significant night drops.
I hope they will do well!

Late 2025 review.
Last year was full of changes and moving my animals. What seemed like an obstacle turned out to be the best thing. Changing the environment for the animals is always tricky and you never know if the animals will like it.
I was able to get some new frog species that I dreamed of getting for a while, breed some new species that I never bred before and improve some conditions to get better results in breeding the Rhacodactylus genus.
Here are a few shots to remind me how good year it was.

Unintentional remake of my recent video 😅
This time while packing the fringed leaf frog, Cruziohyla craspedopus.
Probably the same kind of behaviour as with the mossy frog - defensive.
I have never seen this with adults but they make different defensive postures when they try to make themselves look “bigger”.
