Jimmy is a hound cross, born 10/3/25, with the sweetest nature once he feels safe.
Jimmy had a tough start to life — he was sadly dumped in someone’s garden when he was only a few weeks old, along with his mum and siblings. Despite this, he’s grown into a loving, gentle boy who just needs a little time to build trust.
💛 Personality & temperament:
Timid at first with new people, but very affectionate and loving once he knows you
Submissive and polite with other dogs
Good with cats
Good with children, as long as they are calm and respectful of his space
Jimmy would thrive in a home that understands he may need a bit of patience at the beginning — but the reward is a loyal, soft-natured companion who will bond deeply with his people.
🏡 Ideal home:
Calm, understanding family or individual
Another gentle dog would be a bonus but not essential
Children who can give him space while he settles
If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, sensitive dog who will repay love with endless devotion, Jimmy could be your perfect match 💕
📩 Please message for more information or to apply to adopt Jimmy.

Max 💔
This is Max…
and this is what four years of being invisible looks like.
Four years behind a fence.
Four years of watching families choose other dogs.
Four years of waiting for footsteps that never stop for him.
Four long years the shelter has been his whole world.
At first, Max believed.
Every sound made his heart jump.
Every passing shadow felt like hope.
But hope is heavy when you carry it alone for years.
Now Max doesn’t run to the gate anymore.
He lies down.
He looks away.
Not because he doesn’t care…
but because caring hurts too much when no one chooses you.
His eyes tell a story words never could.
A story of loneliness.
Of confusion.
Of a dog who doesn’t understand what he did wrong.
Max has done nothing wrong.
He didn’t lose his family.
He didn’t fail anyone.
He just wasn’t seen.
In the shelter, he learned how to be quiet with his sadness.
How to make himself small.
How to survive days that all feel the same.
But inside Max, there is still a heart beating for love.
A heart that would light up at the sound of your voice.
A heart that would finally rest if it knew it was safe.
Four years is a lifetime for a dog.
Four years without a couch.
Without a name called with joy.
Without belonging.
Please… let Max’s story change.
Let him feel what it means to be chosen.
Let him remember how happiness feels.
He has waited long enough.
And he is still waiting…
quietly…with a broken heart full of love. 🐾🤍

She stands with her eyes closed, not because she is tired of the world but because for this one moment, she finally feels it.
The sun on her face.
A gentle hand on her side.
Safety.
This is what hope looks like after surviving neglect, after learning how to wait without knowing why. Her ears have heard too much silence, her heart has learned patience the hard way. And yet, here she is lifting her nose to the light as if she still believes tomorrow can be kind.
In shelters, dogs don’t just wait for homes.
They wait for a name spoken with love.
For footsteps that don’t pass by.
For hands that stay.
This photo captures a soul that has not given up. A dog who still trusts, still feels joy in the smallest things. A reminder that love doesn’t always arrive loudly sometimes it arrives as warmth, as touch, as a quiet breath under the sun.
She doesn’t need perfection.
She needs someone to choose her.
Stella simply waiting her human.

The first day of the year rises quietly here, carried in on cold air and wagging tails. A new calendar begins, but inside these walls, hope has never stopped counting. Each paw print on the floor, each gentle bark, each pair of eyes waiting at the gate reminds us why this place exists.
Today is not just the start of a new year it’s a promise. A promise that every dog here will be seen, loved, and given another chance. Some arrived with broken hearts, some with tired bodies, all with stories they could not tell. Yet this morning, they greet the new year with trust. They believe again. And that belief is everything.
We begin this year with gratitude for every volunteer who shows up even when it’s hard, for every hand that fills a bowl, for every soul that chooses kindness. Because of you, these dogs know warmth, safety, and love. Because of you, tomorrow feels possible.
May this year bring full bowls, gentle homes, second chances, and forever families. Until that day comes for each of them, we will stand here loving, protecting, and believing.
Happy New Year from all the hearts that beat on four paws. 🐾
A new year begins… and hope walks beside us.

As the last page of the year 2025 slowly turns, the dog shelter does not close a chapter but it keeps breathing, hoping, waiting.
Tonight, while fireworks prepare to light the sky, there are dogs curled up on cold floors, listening to the echoes of a world that often forgets them. Dogs who once had homes. Dogs who loved without limits. Dogs who still believe that footsteps might stop at their gate and choose them.
2025 was a year of quiet heroes.
Hands that cleaned kennels when no one was watching.
Hearts that broke a little every time a dog was returned, ignored, or left behind.
Souls that stayed even when it hurt because leaving was never an option.
Every wagging tail survived loss.
Every pair of eyes carries a story.
Some stories ended in warmth and couches and names whispered at bedtime.
Others are still waiting… patiently… bravely.
As the clock strikes midnight, we don’t wish for miracles.
We wish for kindness.
For adoptions instead of abandonment.
For compassion louder than excuses.
For a new year where no dog grows old behind bars wondering what they did wrong.
To the dogs who didn’t make it to 2026 you mattered.
To the dogs still here we promise to keep fighting.
And to the humans who stood beside them you are the reason hope survives.
Goodbye, 2025.
You were heavy. You were painful.
But you were also full of love that refused to give up.
May 2026 be the year every shelter becomes empty not because they are forgotten,
but because every dog finally goes home. 🐾❤️

We just wanted to share a little update on bolt, our disable pup.
With her last main vet visit when we went over her ct scan results the vet said that she would have a 60-70% chance of walking again with aggressive physio therapy and now she goes to the vets every few weeks to check her progress.
She has done such an amazing job and we are all so proud of her progress, her foster mum has been doing physio with her a few times during the day to help her relearn the functions of her legs, but to also built up her muscles and now she uses her left leg a lot when she pulls herself along her floor, she has even stood up a few times by herself.
She now knows her name very well and gets on with all her foster siblings really well, she’s is regularly caught cuddling the cats 😂💕

🐾 Meet Tequila 🐾
~8 years old | Sstaffordshire terrier | Looking for a second chance
Tequila’s story is a heartbreaking one. About 5 years ago, she left the shelter for what everyone hoped would be her forever home. Sadly, due to circumstances completely beyond her control, her adopter has become homeless, and Tequila has found herself back at the shelter—confused, scared, and alone once again.
Despite her age, Tequila still has a lot of pep in her step and a surprisingly high energy level. She would love a home that can keep her mentally and physically engaged while also giving her the comfort and stability she’s missing right now.
✨ About Tequila
Around 8 years old
Small pit bull with a big personality
High energy for her age — enjoys activity and engagement
Can be okay with some male dogs, but would need proper meet-and-greets for any home with other dogs
Would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give her time to decompress and feel safe again
Tequila doesn’t understand why she’s back behind kennel doors after having a home. She just knows she’s waiting… again. Senior dogs like her are often overlooked, but they still have so much love and life left to give.
🏡 If you’re looking for an active companion with a loyal heart, or you’re willing to give a deserving dog a soft place to land, Tequila could be your girl.
Please consider adopting, fostering, or sharing her story to help Tequila find the loving home she truly deserves. 💕

We are reaching out with a small but heartfelt request 🤍
Our dogs and puppies would be so grateful for dog bedding and puppy food to keep them warm, comfortable, and well-fed.
Every blanket, bed, or bag of puppy food—no matter the size—makes a real difference in their daily lives. These little acts of kindness give them safety, comfort, and a sense of care while they wait for their forever homes.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting them and for being part of their journey 🐾💞
