💔 Legally Blind Man Walks Miles Every Day Searching for His Stolen Service Dog 💔

For the past two months, Angel Santiago, 58, has been walking up to *seven miles a day* through the streets of Chicago’s Logan Square — searching for the one soul he can’t live without.

His service dog, Bam Bam, a 14-year-old dachshund with a distinctive birthmark on his forehead, was stolen from his yard on June 5 by two men. Bam Bam isn’t just a pet — he’s Angel’s emotional support, his guide, and his constant companion.

Since that day, Angel has been tirelessly handing out flyers, calling Bam Bam’s name, and even wearing the dog’s collar and leash around his neck to spark conversations with strangers.

The toll has been crushing — sleepless nights, loss of appetite, and depression — but Angel refuses to give up. And neither is his community. Together, they’ve raised \$6,000 in rewards (including \$5,000 from PETA) for information leading to Bam Bam’s safe return.

For Angel, this search is about more than finding a dog. It’s about finding the heartbeat that keeps him going. And he’s determined to keep walking until they’re together again.
