feeding from the side of the mouth above the tongue is the correct way. Holding the head upright they do jolt around during a feed so a finger under each side of jaw helps to keep the syringe in the mouth and avoid babe food all over his face lol
Take care when feeding from the side as the beak is soft and you do not want to add too much pressure and cause the beak to be deformed, swap sides occasionally to ensure its equal
