INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY
Dog Day has been created so that all breeds of dogs are celebrated; mixed and pure.

Here are some facts you probably didn't know about dogs:

1)Did you know that dogs have three eyelids? The third lid is a nictitating membrane, which is known as a haw. It is important for ensuring the eye is lubricated and protected.

2) Shar-Peis and Chow Chows have black tongues.

3) 30 percent of Dalmatians are deaf in one ear.

4) Did you know that if a cheetah and a greyhound were to go head-to-head in a long-distance race, a greyhound would win? This is because greyhounds boast exceptional long-distance speeds. They can keep up a pace of 35mph for as long as seven miles.

This day is all about paying tribute to these incredible animals who work selflessly to bring us comfort, keep us safe and truly are man's best friend.

LOST FEMALE WHITE BOXER, Snowy, Limassol- near the 4 Seasons. Has light chestnut colored eyes and was wearing a light brown collar. APPROX 1 year old. People left home for half an hour and when they came home the dog was gone. (dog was in the garden). The little boy in the family, age 4, was VERY attached to this dog and the mother has gone out driving day and night looking for it and asking as many people as possible. She has posted posters in stores etc. If anyone volunteers at the Limassol pounds- can you please keep an eye out for this dog? It has no microchip. Dog has been missing for a week. The little boy has been terribly upset each day. Please call me on 99040012 if you find this dog. Please re-share everywhere! The only picture they have is when the dog was a little puppy.
