Throw back๐Ÿ“…๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ–ค.

This is the very first cat I looked after when I first started up..... and the very last just as we went into lockdown in Cyprus March 2020 ๐Ÿ˜ข. Meet Pam. Just a tiny kitten but she had a lot of sass!! ๐Ÿ˜ป

Let me know if you need your sassy kittens looking after and we too can have lots of play time together ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿ”ดโ—I'm back!!!โ—๐Ÿ”ด

I may not be living in Cyprus any longer but I'm now in Yorkshire and looking to restart my business. Unfortunately I had to close after covid put a stop to travel, however with travel permitted I can start all over again.๐ŸŽ‰

I'd love to look after your cats in and around the Gomersal/Cleckheaton area, that prefer not to use a cattery but instead want their fur babies to have the comfort and familiarity of home. Cats love a routine and I can keep that going for them whilst their families are away. Whether a night away or a two week holiday abroad you can be sure they are in safe hands๐Ÿคฒ.

I make sure I spend time with your cats whether through play, brushing or stroking. When I first started in 2019 I had cats on Christmas day and I still made sure I gave each one extra attention that day along with a tasty turkey treat of course๐Ÿ˜‹. Photos and a small report will be sent daily for your peace of mind๐Ÿ“ฒ๐Ÿ“ธ.

Please read the reviews I have had from previous customers out in Cyprus๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡พ. I can definitely bring the same quality of care to your home here in the UK whilst also making your home look lived in by opening /closing curtains, turning lights on and off and taking out bins etc at no extra expense๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.

If you have any questions at all please do feel free to contact me ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿพ

And there we have it๐Ÿ˜ญ

I had planned to return in October after having a baby in July but unfortunately the crazy corona has put a stop to this. Nobody is going away at the moment, everybody is staying home and keeping safe which ultimately means there's no need for my services. Unfortunately it's not cost effective to have two licences and insurance in place during these uncertain times in the hope I'd be needed. Last Christmas was particularly busy but with the need to isolate in the UK now I'm guessing most people wont be making the journey home this year. Therefore The Crazy Cat Lady is closing ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ฟ

I'd like to thank all of my customers who kept me so busy last year and the start of this year too๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™. I thoroughly enjoyed looking after all your cats. If things start to look bit more rosy in the new year then who knows, I may start back up again if the need is there ๐Ÿ˜Š

Stay safe and enjoy your Christmas๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿคถ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ. Hope 2021 is a better year for everyone ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿˆ

โ€ผ๏ธJust a quick update from me.....

Jack the cat is pleased to introduce his little sister Betsy Florence ๐ŸŽ€. She came into this world on 23 July so we are only 6 weeks into being a family of 5 (6 including Jack๐Ÿˆ!). I have had so many queries since we came out of lockdown, meaning you can all travel again, especially with having the summer holidays too however unfortunately I am not back just yet but I really do appreciate you still think of me after all this time away due to covid and pregnancy ๐Ÿ˜Š. I'm hoping for an October start when the weather cools a little as its too hot just yet for a newborn coming with me to feed your furry ones but I will of course update you again as soon as I'm able and ready to get back to work. Watch this space..... ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿพ๐Ÿˆ

If anybody has been wondering about letting your cats out (because I know you can't walk other peoples dogs at the moment if in isolation), I had a message from the JSHU......

"Cats can continue to go out and roam. They can still act as a viral fomite the same as a dog when they are handled by an infected person, but at a lot lower risk as they are not being physically handed over to someone each time they go out with items that cannot be disinfected (dog leads/ food/ waste bags etc)".

So it appears to me we should refrain from handling any other cats we might see out and about that don't belong to us, including the strays as the virus could potentially live on their fur if they live with a person who is infected.

If you have any questions or concerns though I would direct them to the covid email at [email protected] who should be able to assist better than I can.

Stay safe ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿพ

So it look like thats me closed just like everyone else ๐Ÿ˜ญ. With everyone's travel plans unfortunately cancelled it means I'm no longer needed. Furthermore I am classed in the vulnerable category๐Ÿคฐ so it means I am practicing social distancing. I have by now contacted everyone but If I have missed anyone at all then I am so sorry... please do let me know, my head has been all over and with the added hormones I may have baby brain already ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ. It's a shame this has had to come to an end so abruptly but I hopefully will be back after iv brought another human into this uncertain world ๐Ÿ™ˆ. Thank you to all who have supported me, it's been an absolute pleasure looking all your gorgeous cats๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜ป. I miss them all and I shall see you very soon. Stay safe, Briony๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿพ

I am now fully booked right up to the beginning of May๐Ÿ‘Œ!! THANK YOU so much for supporting a small business like mine. IV only been open since November and you've kept me super busy๐Ÿ™Œ!! Iv met so many lovely people and cats๐Ÿ˜ป. I'm sorry if I see you around and only remember your cats names and not yours ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿ˜‚

โ€ผ๏ธHowever from May onwards unfortunately I wont be taking any more bookings ๐Ÿ˜ญ. I am due to have a baby in July and I think with the weather being so hot in the couple of months leading up to then, I won't want to be doing anything except sitting in the pool ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿฅต๐ŸŒก๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

I will obviously keep you updated when I am back up and running again but I may have a little one in tow too! ๐Ÿ‘ถ

Once again thank you for supporting me and my business, it's been amazing looking after all your kittens ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ˜ป

Drinking....how does your cat like to do it? My cat likes to drink direct from the tap ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ so I encourage him to drink water from his bowl by placing it next to the sink. It's in a different room from his food, which is what experts recommend.

Cats, or perhaps wild cats, have an instinctive nature not to contaminate their drinking water with their food (or prey) and therefore know that drinking from flowing water is their safer option, it's cooler and oxygenated too. We used to have a water fountain for him but with little ones in the house....well that's all too tempting for them so we unfortunately had to remove that.

If you never see your cat drink water, try moving it to a different place, away from their food source, just to see if this makes any difference.

And people think cats are easier than dogs ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿพ

The cat may be seen as a rather low maintenance pet compared to the dog, which of course needs regular walking and a lot of input and interaction with the...

In respect of the news that has recently come to light regarding another pet sitting service provider I thought I should put my customer's minds at ease.

โœ”๏ธ I hold a business licence, which is what all service providers should hold whilst trading within the SBA.

โœ”๏ธ I also hold a mobile "Itinerant Trader" licence which allows me to conduct business not only from my home, office or other place of work but also on a fully mobile basis which allows me to come to your homes to look after your loved pets/extended family members.

โœ”๏ธ I hold the requisite public liability insurance up to the value of ยฃ1,000,000 however I hope this will never be needed whilst your cats and small animals are in my care.

These are only short copies to enable me to post them here, the documents themselves have numerous pages to them. However if you wish to see these at any time then please do let me know. I am more than happy to provide you with sight of these prior to, during or after my time with your cats so please please please do not hesitate to ask me.
