Training session for Seven in Shanghai…

Currently in Shanghai, along with the fear of being sent to quarantine centers that are nothing less than creepy concentration centers, comes fear for our pets, knowing the way the country is dealing with it. Even if a person has not been recognized as a positive case, the chances of being sent to these centers are very high. Either the covid test not always being accurate and having errors in declaring people positive when they are clearly not (various tests have proven this), or simply being unlucky that someone else is declared positive in the same building, it is a direct ticket for the "jail". Then the apartments will be fully disinfected by medical personnel and in many cases totally destroyed and stolen, and the pets will simply be killed by these health workers claiming it is a crucial necessity to win the war against the pandemic. .
While we already know that people are starving and facing really difficult situations, the hope for our pets is really slim.
I really fear for Seven & Eleven because from one day to the next, anything can happen, and… we can't do anything but move to a more stable environment.

Everyone who owns a pet knows that we would do anything to protect them, they are so innocent.
We really need support for the evacuees. Restrictions make this extremely difficult and very expensive. But it's a top priority for me to take them with me.

I hope China can quickly win its fight against the pandemic but I don’t want my pets to be exterminated for it 😔

This is Seven when I took him with me the first time.

I got him when he was around 6 months old, his left eye had a sever strabismus. In China doberman breed is not a common breed for pet because it requires a special certificate which is very hard to get. Without mentioned also due to his eyes problem, the breeder wasn’t able to sell him, has people always prefer perfect dogs. I found him on time as he would certainly end up to be putting down or to be sold to dog meat dealers to avoid maintenance fees. I managed to get a working dog certificate for him which I payed a lot of money for. Now his eye is recovered. And he has the most gentle personality.

This is Eleven, when I recruited him to be with me.

He was around 3-4 months when he found me on the street one night when I was walking. He literally jumped on me asking for help and food. And at that time his left leg is crippled, and bleeding. He was so tiny and skinny, one of his eye was infected looks like a glass ball. for that the reason I believed he was abandoned and haven’t eat for a long time. Now his eye and leg are still disabled, but for me he is the most perfect cat.

No choice, we managed to make a small secret garden for Seven in the stairs for him. The lockdown here is way too strict and they don’t cares about dog’s needs.
