What does the formula need? What barrier performance is required? How will the package be filled, transported and used? And what recycling infrastructure is available in the target market?

Only then does it make sense to talk about the material structure.

For some applications, recyclable or mono-material structures may be a good direction. For others, the product's barrier and protection requirements can make the decision more complicated. There isn't one material that works perfectly for every cosmetic product — and we'd rather be honest about that.
