I used to think feeding the same thing every day was the right thing to do.

Keep it consistent. Don’t upset their stomach. Keep it simple.

And honestly… there’s nothing wrong with that.
Most dogs are doing just fine on a consistent base diet.

But over time, I started learning more about the gut microbiome… and how diversity plays a role in resilience, digestion, and overall health.

So instead of overhauling everything, I made one simple shift:

👉 I kept Ciccio’s base the same
👉 and started adding in variety around it

A little pumpkin one day
Some blueberries or chia the next
Different veggies, different fibres… even rotating proteins occasionally 🍗

🌟Nothing complicated. Nothing expensive.
Just small, intentional changes.

And that’s really what I want you to take from this —
