PARIS, FRANCE — Le Crazy Horse, sanctuaire avant-gardiste de la nuit parisienne, a le plaisir d'annoncer une évolution audacieuse de son histoire créative. Pour sa prochaine production intitulée « Spring Fever », le cabaret accueillera pour la première fois depuis sa création en 1951 des chevaux sur scène.

Les stars de ce nouveau tableau sont la jument Destiny et son poulain, Phaedra de Javols.

Ce choix rend hommage au chef amérindien Oglala Lakota, Crazy Horse, dont la figure légendaire a inspiré le nom du cabaret parisien.

« Nous avons cherché une jument et un poulain ayant une véritable présence pour la scène », explique Andrée Deissenberg. « Dès que nos danseuses sont allées à leur rencontre, il était évident que Phaedra avait bien "l'esprit Crazy".

Du Paddock aux Projecteurs

Pour l'éleveuse Elise de Rouville, la sélection de ses chevaux pour une scène parisienne est un tournant inattendu pour son élevage. « J'ai élevé Phaedra pour le dressage, mais je n'aurais jamais imaginé qu'elle danserait dans un cabaret ! »

Le Crazy Horse est le plus avant-gardiste des cabarets parisiens. Célébré pour son « Art du Nu », il demeure un symbole mondial de chic, de créativité féminine et de la performance artistique.

PARIS, FRANCE — Le Crazy Horse, the iconic avant-garde sanctuary of Parisian nightlife located at 12 Avenue George V, is thrilled to announce a provocative evolution in its creative history. For the upcoming production "Spring Fever," the cabaret will feature live horses on stage for the first time since its founding in 1951.

A Visionary Tribute

The decision to bring horses into the intimate, red-velvet atmosphere of the cabaret was driven by Chief Creator Andrée Deissenberg. The move serves as a direct tribute to the Oglala Lakota Native American leader, Crazy Horse, whose love of the American showgirl culture originally inspired the venue's name.

"We were looking for a mare and foal who possessed a specific kind of sparkle and stage presence," says Deissenberg. "After bringing our dancers to meet them, it was clear that Phaedra had the ‘Crazy’ spirit. She clicked with our dancers immediately, and we look forward to integrating that raw, natural energy into our choreography."

For breeder Elise de Rouville, the selection of her horses for a Parisian stage is an unexpected turn for her small breeding operation. "I originally bred Phaedra for dressage but I never imagined she would be dancing in a cabaret."

Le Crazy Horse is the most avant-garde of the Parisian cabarets. Known for "L'Art du Nu," it remains a global symbol of chic, feminine creativity and sophisticated performance art.

Feeling very lucky to test Naca's new Comète riding helmet!

Pleasantly surprised by its fit and weightlessness but particularly how much it opened up my range of vision 👀 💪💪

I hadn't realised my vision was impeded before trying the Naca 🫣🤔

I chose the large visor but the XL wouldn't have been too big and would be perfect for outdoor arenas. Leather, carbon and coloured visors exist but the best part is:

If you fall, the visor declips magnetically so the visor doesn't snap your neck or your skull 🤯💥🤯
So that's good to know 💪💪😆

The carbon clip under the neck is also magnetic and somehow slides into place. Which means you can slip it off with one hand and hold your reins in the other.

And it's FEI compliant for the new 2026 requirements 👍
