Lots of change here to reflect life’s ebbs and flows . Life certainly has changed profoundly in the past few years and so I have decided to downsize the herd and spend a lot more time in the barn . Silver Mist Eclipse and Baptiste Kains Kate com have already found new partnerships and are now settled at new homes and there will be at least one more moving on in the months to come. They were both wonderful and I am grateful for all I have learned from my time with them and am also grateful they are now fulfilling someone else’s dreams . The smaller the herd gets the harder it is to choose but I’m at the point where I’d like to have much less and do much more . What worked year ago no longer does so making many changes to reflect the changes in myself now that I can finally be free to make them , I also have at least 2 here who have been waiting a long time for me to partner with them and I am looking forward to finally making that happen.

SM song of the Wild all grown up and learning grown up things now . He is a huge guy , gorgeous and has a lovely temperament. Still deciding his future but want to enjoy him for a while since I’m just starting to get back to training after a long break

Some photos of Kate from about 9 years ago . She was doing great but life just happened. Just sharing to show that she was in fact ridden once.

Here’s a few photos of Kate - aka Baptiste Kains Katecom from today . Will be trying to get more photos and some videos through the next couple weeks until she finds her new placement . Again just to recap She is 2009 model - was started about 10 years ago on riding and driving but never really advanced her past that . Used to lunge well on one or two lines. She had pretty extensive desensitization way back and still seems to be pretty un bothered. Haven’t done anything with her since .As of today she is still super easy to catch, leads beautifully , seems to still tie well and doesn’t pull . Is decent with her feet and generally agreeable . Seems to still be pretty chill and is a real sweet heart. Loves attention and loves being groomed. I have not tested her for pssm1 as I have not intended to breed her. Please excuse the mud and sticky sap from poplar buds . It’s that time . Will post some more photos and some video as I get it done but may be a week or 2 as May is very full month here . https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/baptiste+kains+katecom

So there seems to be more interest in Kate than I expected . Thanks to all inquiring for your patience. I will get some updated photos of her this weekend . Unfortunately the weather here is awful at the moment and winds are between 80 and 100Km so it will have to wait . I have had several inquiries and there is a list forming so I will let people know . Kate is roughly 15 hands through I don’t remember so I’d have to measure her. She can tie and we do her maintenance but she’s basically a glorified lawn mower here which isn’t a big problem but I’m just too busy and have other horses I prefer to spend time with when I can. I am needing to downsize a little so I can keep up better . She is a darling and just the kindest mare . The last work she had done with her was about 10 years ago . She was started on driving and under saddle but as I mentioned it’s been a long time and no I won’t be able to do anything with her due to my work load which is why she is being offered. She had one foal here 12 years ago without any complications. Was a good mom and had been healthy thus far . That’s about all. As I mentioned I will put some up dated photos as I am able to get them done. Here is the link to her all breeds profile https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/baptiste+kains+katecom

Anyone interested in a 2009 cremello Baptiste lake mare ? I will add more details and photos later . Just feeling like I have way too heavy a work load and maybe too many horses for this stage of my life .She was ridden about 10 years ago but is basically basically a glorified lawn mower now . Not doing anything with her as I haven’t got the time or she would not be offered at all. She is a real darling and if she goes I will miss her . casually looking to re home her to a forever home . More photos and details to come , feel free to inquire
