Cinder will be officially bred to FC/AFC Wham I am. Super accomplished and Nationals finalist and only 6 yrs of age Wham has a stacked 5 generation pedigree with all health clearances. Cinder is a finished dog with 100% pass rate in Masters. She will follow in the steps of mom (Carbon GMH out of NFC Mickey). Stacked pedigree as well, with Cinders sire 3X Cdn National Finalists Bronco.

Congratulations to Tim & Loosie. Finished 2nd in today’s field trial. Will be the last one run this year for this duo. Had an awesome summer achieving her JFTR title. Now on to bigger things.

Been a super busy summer hear, have not done a great job of loading new material. Things have now calmed down which will be good for a whopping 2 weeks lol. Then it’s bird season. Going to be a great few months!!

I’m still waiting for summer lol 😆

This is not an exciting video but worthy of conversation for those with young dogs. This is 7 mth old Kai, first introduction to decoys. She was very hesitant as you can see. Whole idea of teaching is so pups dont see it for the first time in field. We train to build momentum, understanding and build confidence. Confidence is everything especially in a young dog. 6 weeks til bird season folks. Make the most of it

We are now adding factors to make more challenging marks. Kai one of Cinder pups is doing awesome. 45 degree down hill, across a road and climb again. She tumbled on the way out of site. See her collar packed of grass on way back lol. She didn’t miss a beat

Introducing 7 month old Kai, pup out of Cinder & Wham. We have finished off obedience, collar conditioned, whistle sit and here. Just finished force fetch this morning. Now to the fun stuff finally!! Tonight was Kai’s first retrieve. Working thru the mechanics of a retrieve before we head out into the field later in the week. She’s a beautiful girl and a sponge with no lack of drive lol.

"BlackMagic Release The Quacken" who placed 3rd in her first Junior (CDN Derby) trial at FVRTC Trial in Aldergrove at the young age of 15mths, BC. Loosie is owned by Tim Duhaime trained and handled by Colin McNicol of Windy River Retrievers

Time is flying. On the tail end. They have been officially weaned as of today. Nails done and dewormed. Play time before big nap time lol. Super happy with these pups. Futures are bright. Even ventured outside today for the first time 😀. Tomorrow we introduce crates
