I want to take a moment to give a shoutout to Hannah Davis and Tommie. In their last 5 UKC Elite Shed Dog Series tests, they managed three podiums in the Champion Class, including one win 🏆! Tommie is featured in numerous videos in our online shed dog training guide at trainasheddog.com , and continues to be engaged in our program. Tommie comes from show/conformation line labradors. Tommie is the perfect example of why our program emphasizes building and maintaining confidence and drive to find and maintain success for the "DIY" shed dog trainers.

We had a great first day at our Georgian Bay Shed Dogs Georgian Bay HRC UKC Elite Shed Dog Series Event. Congrats to all qualifying participants! Board picture below!
We finished the UKC event early today and put a challenge together with Canadian Antler Dogs to raise money for the youth scholarship fund. 6 zones, 6 antlers, 6 minute time limit, and a trail down the middle, handler had to stay on the trail and the dog had to do all the work. Top 3 for the challenge Ben Leger /Badger: 2min25s, Tori Edwards /Pistol: 2min44s and Nick Ayres /Chief : 3min43s. Thank you to Stephen Poredos for judging the challenge! We raised 260$ for the scholarship fund!
