Had a good walk this morning with Axel! Beautiful start to my birthday! He was go-go mode, passerbyers were friendly, not a mosquito in sight and I remembered his treats too!

We logged 4km into the TreatWalk - Dog Fitness App 🐾 app - which I love because it tracks our movement, you can add public trails, etc!

Had the pleasure of taking Quinn out today as part of my volunteer time dedicated to ElderDog Canada. This little cutie is very different from my *regulars* and keeps me on my toes!

Can ya spare 20-30 minutes a week? Consider volunteering with ElderDog! Currently there are 2 dogs in Woodstock and we could use your help!

Pitstop with Luna at the watering hole in Hillview Cemetery. This cemetery allows dogs to be walked in as long as owners/walkers pick up any mess. The keepers also put out a stainless steel bowl by the tap for hot dogs.

🤩 My gosh, Quinn has come such a long way since she's been walked by me, for my sake!
A bit ago, I invested my time into some training with her and as a result, we now have a well established walking relationship! As in *walking*, not stalling, not trying to eat everything in sight but a good clip of walk, while implementing a balance of discipline and free-time during her structured walks.

🐕 I am not sure how she behaves for the other volunteers (who have the patience of saints) but we get to go further than her usual loop that her other volunteers take her on, now that she isn't scavenging nearly as much; Quinn still tries for goose p**p every now and then but with a cue reminder she redirects herself and she pretty much ignores her usual *chews*.
Plus there isn't any more of her lolligagging at the top of her walks! Yay Quinn!

💥 Quinn is always rip-roaring and ready to go! And she loves her water bottle💧

❤️ Definitely one of my favourite volunteer moments is spent with Quinn!
