The same technique applies to planting single tubers early, (you will have a clump like that by autumn if your dahlias are happy!). Just don’t water much until the plant is actively growing or the tuber may rot. They need roots to use up that water! Keep them from frost, a sunny window is fine for now and then day trips outside when our weather warms up.

Amaryllis lovers this is for you! I was originally going to offer these arrangements for pick up in December but this guy is an overachiever and he is ready to bloom any minute now! So I’d love to get him to your home so you don’t miss a minute of the magic that is this flower. This variety is called Vixen, (Santa’s little helpers) and is a beautiful deep velvet red. Blooms will last several weeks and this bulb has another flower spike coming up so you can expect flowers into January. The only catch with this is that you need to pick up asap from me, and the flowers can NOT be in the cold. Although it is a Christmas favourite, it is a tropical flower and not meant for below freezing temps. (But I will wrap it up for the journey home). $55, pm me is good like to take this gorgeous baby home for your table.
