One of our trick dogs has had to undergo another surgery on her poor knees 😬😔

Support Churro’s Recovery Journey! 50/50 Fundraiser
​Churro really wants to run again, but her knees have been holding her back.
​Many of you know our sweet girl’s story: we brought her home as a rescue pup from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in 2019, and she’s been the center of our world ever since. However, her journey up to now hasn’t been easy. Starting in July 2021, this brave girl has undergone 6 knee surgeries, including:
TPLO procedures on both back knees
TPLO plate removal on both back knees
​Meniscus repairs on both back knees

​The Great News: Churro had her most recent surgery on May 6th and came through like a total champ! She is resting and we are sending every positive vibration into the universe that this is the final hurdle in her long recovery journey.
​How You Can Help: While Churro is a fighter, her vet bills have been equally "heavyweight." To help us manage the mounting costs of her specialized care and surgeries, we are hosting a 50/50 Fundraiser. ​Whether you choose to enter the 50/50, share this post, or simply send a "good girl" message to Churro, we are incredibly grateful.
​The Goal: 50% of the total goes to help take the financial pressure off Churro’s medical bills, and 50% goes to one lucky winner!

💙 Jaxon 💙

The troublesome heeler puppy from an old barn in southern Manitoba

He came into our home for 6 months as a board and train pup that was off to Vancouver after his training…

Well to say he was a challenge was an understatement! He had a sassy little attitude and a personality to keep us on our toes!

After a second attempt with westjet cargo bc his ears were so big they claimed his crate needed to be for a giant 🫣🤣
Off he went to start his Vancouver adventure!

He was one of a kind ! He went to work with my mom and Mark to downtown Vancouver to greet to tenants, ride the elevator and keep an eye on security cameras! He was so special to so many of the staff there and esp to Ben who he would stay with when my mom was away ♥️ so greatful for all the love this dog received over his way to short life.

We loved our visits to B.C. To see him and spent time playing frisbee at the park! He recognized my voice and whistle everytime my mom and I gabbed on the phone and he would have to bark a hello 💙

Unfortunately Jaxon became unwell and shortly there after a diagnosis of advanced lymphoma had his wonderful life shortened by way too much😭

He will be missed by so many 💙

Thank you mom and Mark for giving this special pup the best damn life a dog could have! 🥰♥️🌈
