"Ethel" was our first puppy we rehomed. Her "delivery to her new home" story is unique and Id like to share it because I get asked often how we can accommodate long distance deliveries out of province. Ethel's new momma lives in Nova Scotia, I live in Ontario. We communicated a safe way to get Ethel to NS and came up with this plan....Ethel's new mommy sent me a airplane certified carrier that I trained Ethel to sleep in it, she loved the cuddle space. We got specialized paperwork and veterinary clearance to allow Ethel on an airplane. Ethel's new momma bought a two way plane ticket from Halifax to Toronto, my husband drove Ethel to Toronto awaiting her new momma. They were introduced in the airport in Toronto and Ethel's new momma was over the moon happy with love for her new bundle of joy. Ethel and her fur-momma boarded the plane and off they went back to Nova Scotia with Ethel asleep on her lap in her little carrier. I got the update pictures after her flight, Ethel did amazing and her fur-momma was happy we were able to accommodate this adoption. This is the text I received soon after: "Everything went well. She is snuggled up to my neck at the moment. As soon as she got off the plane we took her to the grass and she peed. I just fed her and now she is snuggling. She fell asleep on the plane".

◇This is the only option I would agree to send a puppy across province in an airplane, it was the safest and most humane for Ethel...

"Eva's" first pups almost ready for their new homes..if you watch long enough you'll see a closeup of "Chewie".🥰😍😘 (this was taken several years ago and each pup found wonderful homes).

Imperial Shih Tzus first meal of "wet puppy food", needless to say they loved it (I know I prepared too much but it was their first feeding and I got optimistic lol...😍🥰😘
